The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition

Four Swords Adventures Nintendo has set a release date for The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, a port of the 2004 Gamecube title The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. Scheduled for release on September 28, 2011, the game will be available for download on the DSi, DSi XL, and the 3DS. The download will be free until February 20, 2012.

Four Swords Adventures was a great little Zelda title on the Gamecube but it was not meant to be played alone. However getting other people to join your game was a bit of a hassle. What with each person needing to have their own GBA and each needing it's own GBA Gamecube cable. The Anniversary Edition is said to have a "enhance new single=player mode" but since you can connect to other players wirelessly now, I'd say it's time to kick some Ganon butt!

Hilarious Street Fighter X Tekken trailer

Yet another trailer has been shown teasing a few characters that might just make it to the final roster. Revealed by Famitsu, this hilarious trailer focuses on Rufus(Street Fighter) mistaking Bob(Tekken) as Ken Masters.

Rufus, Zangief was shown with Marshall law sort of teased at the end. No word yet though if any of the new characters shown in the trailer are playable. Capcom and Namco certainly wants us to keep guessing on who else will be joining the final roster, but i'd rather have hilarious videos like these to tease us instead of those 1 minute video showing torn up images. If Rufus does join Street Fighter X Tekken, looks like Bob has a new rival.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy - 1st Gameplay Video

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy gameplay Remember that Final Fantasy music and rhythm game that was announced? It sounded all confusing and (to some) stupid. Well I was excited when i first heard about it and now that I've seen gameplay of it makes me want to go out there and get a 3DS right this minute.

Aside from battle sequences having the music and rhythm action, what looks to be fixed segments of travel also have a different approach to the music and rhythm action. Add to that some FMVs from other Final Fantasy games used as background videos during some Ouendan style action. Is that the FF8 Ballroom dance scene I see?

Thanks to Colette Bennett's tweet for the video link.

Gamestop Employee Fired For Planking In Store

Planking is all the rage now, especially here in thePhilippines. It's never been something that I've been fond of or wanted to immitate but many people and immitation is a great form of flattery. However, aside from looking stupid, it could also get a person fired as a 4-year store supervisor at Gamestop has just proven.

Because he was planking while in a supervisory position, combined with the Twitter posts, his termination is considered gross negligence. Mazzocchi was a Senior Game Advisor, and had been working at Gamestop since 2007.

At first this may seem like an overreaction, Gamestop is considering not only their own reputation but the safety of its employees in this matter. Mazzocchi was putting himself in potential danger both on company property and while on the clock. By posting the images to Twitter, he essential nailed his own coffin. Gamestop is notorious for monitoring its employees actions on the web, and this is not the first time a company has used evidence from social networking sites like Twitter as grounds for termination.
