Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Rocket Raccoon and Frank West Character Reveal Trailer

Character reveal Capcom just revealed the last two characters joinging Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom3, for Marvel we have...... Rocket Raccoon. I have no clue that Marvel had a character like this and people thought he'd be a joke. Well from what I see in the trailer reveal, he's going to be pretty nasty. Can't wait to see the pro's get their hands on this small critter. For Capcom's side we have Frank West, the protagonist of the first Dead Rising game. He honestly looks similar to when he was in Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

It seems he has a lot of tricks up his sleeves. Rocket Raccoon going underground might come as a problem, at the same time the guy is just as small as Amaterasu(The dog in Marvel vs Capcom 3) so his hit box will be definitely be an issue for some character moves.

What's up with the level up system of Frank West? I have no idea what it's for. He also drinks alcohol that looks like a buff, but makes you vomit after a few seconds. He looks like a trippy character though. His camera shot looks like it interrupts attacks.

The list of characters joining Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is complete. What's left is waiting for its release a few weeks from now. Selling your vanilla copy to get your copy? I already sold mine, not  much of a sell though.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is out on November 15 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Battlefield 3's first expansion coming in December

This whole week for me in gaming is all about Battlefield 3. I still want to create my second character in Dark Souls and possibly get that Platinum, but that will have to wait thanks to this addicting multiplayer, plus the single player is still untouched! EA announced that the first expansion, Back to Karkand(included in the Limited Edition) is coming in December. Just a few weeks away and we get four new maps to play in? This game will be near my PS3 for a long time.

Sadly they're not really new maps, they are maps from previous Battlefield games remastered for Battlefield 3.  Now it still sounds like a good deal for people who have to purchase the expansion pack. The four maps are: Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. It will also include extra dog tags, trophies/achievements, and new vehicles:  DPV, BTR-90, and F-35B STOVL jet fighter. They will also include additional weapons from the old Battlefield games.

Limited Edition owners of course will get this pack for free, but for those that didn't pre-order, you'll have to pay to get it.

Have a look at these fresh new screenshots of the Back to Karkand:

First look at the Phoenix Wright movie

PW IRL Earlier this year I had heard about a live action Phoenix Wright movie being made. That was enough news for me and I have then since not followed up on any news about it as I simply await it's release and hopefully a subtitled version comes out shortly after.

Recently an image of the actor who would be playing Wright (or Naruhodo Ryuichi in Japan) has surfaced on the net complete with the super gel-ed hair and my friends who have seen it have been telling me that the game is getting a live action movie (which I already knew). But what's better than a static image? Some video footage of course and IGN has dug up just that.

To be honest back when I first heard about this I wished that they would've just made it an OVA instead and from what I've seen in the video, some characters just... don't look right. I mean Maya looks out right nasty in this. Complaints aside I will still watch this movie and will probably love it. The virtual screens that appear to show evidence suits the style as it looks to bring some of the intense back and forth arguments in the Phoenix Wright court into the live action movie world.

Oh, and the voices of the actors who play Wright, Edgeworth, and Von Karma nail it. IGIARI! I mean~ OBJECTION!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Your guns level up too!

Modern Warfare 3 A new video was just released and explains another way you can customize and progress in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Not only do you level up yourself, you will now also worry about leveling your guns. Their also introducing a new feature called Weapon Proficiencies, which gives you another way to customize your weapon of choice.

Each weapon in the game needs to be leveled up. This is now the new way to unlock gun attachments, reticles and the new feature called Weapon Proficiencies. Weapon Proficiencies give you that extra edge and improve how you perform with that gun. Reduced kick? yes please! While it sounds awesome and all, I wonder how it will play with the balancing of the game?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out on November 8 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.

Batman: Arkham City Nightwing Trailer

Batman: Arkham City has only been out a week and Warner Bros. is already bringing out DLC's for us to consider. 'Nightwing's Bundle Pack' will be out on November 1 for PSN and Xbox 360.

Nightwing, also known as Dick Grayson, first started out as the first Robin(correct me if I'm wrong) and was trained personally by Batman. Just like Catwoman, this playable character will have his own set of moves and gadgets. He will be playable in all unlocked challenge maps and the bundle will include two more maps(Wayne Manor and Main Hall).  The bundle will also include one character skin for the DLC character, the animated series Nightwing.

'Nightwing Bundle Pack' will cost $5.99 or 560 Microsoft Points.
