Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 full Cinematic Trailer
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is coming out today and to celebrate the latest entry of the series, check out the six-minute cinematic trailer that will greet you when you get your own copy. It looks pretty sick and has all the new characters added into the game plus old favorites.
It's an awesome intro video, and honestly the longest I've seen for a fighting game. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 should be out now for the US and hopefully here too. In other areas, The game will be out in Japan on the 17th, Europe on the 18th.
Halo 4 is a thing and it's not jumping systems
There have been rumors spreading that Halo 4 was to be a launch title for Microsoft's successor to the Xbox 360. That doesn't seem to be the case as it looks like Cheif is in for an extended stay.
Frank O'Connor, the development director for the Halo franchise, has just posted on Neogaf that Halo 4 will be on the 360.
"Halo 4 will be on Xbox 360 and use a modified core of the Halo engine(s). Not really a singular engine since it goes through fairly radical evolutions all the time."
I personally am not a Halo fan (didn't find the games very interesting) but I understand why so many people like it. This is also good news for a lot of people since most of them are probably not ready for a console move just yet. Or will have trouble convincing their parents to get them another Xbox.

Yamauchi doing some work on Gran Turismo 6
While it is too early to talk about the next Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi told Complex that Polyphony Digital started working on the 6th installment of the series. Don't worry, based on how long they took to develop the 5th game, we're talking about years from now.
If you ask me , Gran Turismo 5 might be the only GT we'll have on the PS3 as I see it has many years left in it. They're still busy supporting GT5 at the same time just placed a huge update on the game. It's constantly evolving at the same time taking so much space in your PS3. It took Polyphony Digital 5 years to get released since it's announcement back in 2005.
Is it time to talk about the 6th installment? too early or not, Polyphony Digital is starting work early.

Battlefield 3 patch addressing tactical light being too damn bright
DICE is hard at work getting all the balancing right and considering a few changes for the next patch. One change in particular is what I've been praying since beta - Lowering the intensity of that damn tactical light.
The tactical light is just too strong in my opinion. There is no change in its intensity if you're far away, too close or even in broad daylight. Whatever the case, the light covers almost the whole screen. Here's a before and after shot of this gun attachment. This attachment can be placed in most of the assault and carbine weapons and all handguns.

The adjustment to the tactical light seems reasonable. The intensity of the light will get stronger or weaker depending on how close you are to the player but best of all it won' cover the whole screen anymore.
Other changes include AA guns making air vehicles steering completely off-course when hit. I feel this at times, it feels like a small dent coming from AA fire comes out as if you've taken a direct hit from its fire leaving you fighting desperately to get your aircraft leveled. They are also going to address the issue of jets having no option to repair themselves.
While helicopters have the option to land and ask a buddy engineer to repair; crash landing for a jet is close to impossible when hit hard in this game. No word on how they'll address this, if their either planning a way to land the jet better or maybe a self repair skill, we'll just have to see when this patch comes out.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword reviews are in
Wii's biggest and only game is days away and the reviews started showing up in most sites. What the result?? yet another Zelda game worth playing it seems. Here's a round-up of all the reviews out now.
EDGE - 10/10
1UP - B+
G4 - 4/5
Gameinformer - 10/10
Gamepro - 4/5
IGN - 10/10
Joystiq - 4.5/5
Cheat Code Central - 5.0
GamesRadar - 9/10
Videogamer - 10/10
Wired - 10/10
Will update any more reviews, but so far the game is looking to be worth a buy as expected. Regardless of you required to swing your controller around your room, it seems like it brings minor issues to the table while playing. While watching some of the game reviews, it made me realize how amazing the game looks. It's definitely the best looking game you'll get out of the Wii. Last time a game looked this gorgeous was Mario Galaxy 2. With the Nintendo Wii's limitations in the graphics department, I'm surprised that up until now they we're able to squeeze out some amazing visuals.
