Lost Planet 3 revealed at Captivate 2012
Quite surprised with this announcement at Capcom's Captivate 2012. A third game in the Lost Planet series? What's even worse is that it's not really Capcom working on the third game. Sparks Unlimited is the name of Lost Planet 3's developer and their latest(and only) games in their belt is Legendary and Turning Point which aren't good games to begin with from what I remember. Anyways feast your eyes at this cinematic trailer.
Not that much information about this game aside from the early 2013 release date and that Sparks Unlimited is in charge of this title. It seems like Capcom likes sending their franchises over to other devs nowadays. They have sent Devil May Cry to Ninja Theory's way and even gave a Resident Evil title to Six Slant Games.
Excited about this title? I lost faith thanks to Lost Planet 2, but it all depends if it gives the third title a whole different feel.
New Resident Evil 6 trailer shows a lot of surprises
Capcom releases a brand new trailer for Resident Evil 6 that pretty much answers all our questions for the reveal trailer. Not only do we get a clear picture on what's going on in the latest Resident Evil, we get a treat towards the end that I consider very rare.
Wesker Junior? Really Capcom? Anyways, awesome trailer. If you didn't notice, they actually moved forward the release date. From the previously announced November 20, 2012 release, Resident Evil 6 is now coming out on October 2, 2012 instead. You don't get that everyday.
The game will be available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Pre-purchase of Guild Wars 2 now available
Excited for Guild Wars 2? While ArenaNet has yet to announce a release date for the game, you can actually pre-purchase the game right now. By doing so, you earn access to future beta events, some hero's band, and a three days head start when it get's released. Available is the Standard Edition, Delux Edition, and Collector's Edition. So what are you waiting for? Go a ahead and buy a game that has no release date!
ArenaNet has already announced that Guild Wars 2 will definitely see the light of day sometime this year so it will happen, don't worry.
New DmC trailer shows what the media thinks about Dante
Ninja Theory's take on Devil May Cry has a new trailer out with the media accusing Dante a terrorist and a known sexual deviant. Apparently demons aren't the only ones hating on young Dante.
Confused by his new look? This Devil May Cry has no connection with past games and this is the first time the series is not being directly developed by Capcom. I consider it a risk but at least the gameplay looks like a Devil May Cry game.
DmC is coming out for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC but no official date has been announced.
Graphics comparison for the Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition
The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition is hitting the Xbox 360 on April 17, and thanks to Gamespot, we get to see the difference between the console version and the PC version.
You can obviously tell there's a color tone difference and I definitely prefer the PC version(On high settings) of the game. But it seems like CD Projekt Red did a good job porting the game to the Xbox 360. Take note that this game has very demanding graphics. The only question left in my mind is if it will perform well all throughout.
I played the PC version when it came out and is definitely one of the best RPG's last year. The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition is out on April 17 on the Xbox 360.
