Uncharted 3 patch 1.13 is available now, biggest patch ever says Naughty Dog

Naughty Dog announced that patch 1.13 is now live and brings tons of chamges to Uncharted 3's multiplayer. They call this the biggest patch they ever did and they weren't kidding. The patch is loaded with so much goodies that they actually made a detailed video to explain this patch.

Just when you thought the studio was in full force to develop The Last of Us, they surprise the Uncharted community that they still care.

It's a bit of a shock that Naughty Dog and Sony are adding all of this as a patch and not DLC. The new custom parts could have easily been custom packs for $1 or a tournament mode pack for a couple of bucks. Guess I'm used to extra content on a game now always having a price tag. Yes, the new items can be purchase, but they can also be earned by just playing the game. Over 100+ new items, tournament mode and the changes to the gmal was enough for me to pop in my Uncharted 3 copy to update my game to 1.13. The patch is 263MB.

So if you still have your Uncharted 3 copy, now seems like a good time to revisit the game's multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer revealed

It's finally revealed. Treyarch just released a new trailer showing  Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's multiplayer. Check out the new gadgets at your disposal. All the new stuff are all futuristic and aside from that, multiplayer looks like the same game two COD games ago. Still, we all know we are going to get pulled in once again somehow. Check out the trailer below.

LittleBigPlanet Karting release date set

Sony just revealed that LittleBigPlanet Karting will be launching on November 6 exclusive to the Playstation 3 of course.  Together with the blog post revealing the release date, a new trailer was released. Ready for some Mario Kart-ish action mixed with some LittleBigPlanet creativity?

A Kevin Butler sackboy bundled with its own kart? Very tempting pre-order indeed.

PS3 version of Assassin's Creed 3 will include one hour exclusive content

Just in case you haven't decided on what platform you want to play Assassin's Creed 3, this bit of info might help. The PS3 version of the game is getting 60 minutes of exclusive content. No information yet on what this extra content is all about. 

During E3, Ubisoft announced that the PS3 version will be getting exclusive content. Well this is it. A box art(Shown below) reveals the exclusive content. If I have to guess, this might be a simple side quest with no meaning to the main story at all. Past Assassin's Creed games like Brotherhood and Revelations both have exclusive offers for PS3 players. Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is also an exclusive PS Vita game with a completely different protagonist.

I'm planning to get the Xbox 360 version of Assassin's Creed 3(I like to spread the love between consoles), even with this exclusive content for the PS3, an extra hour of game-time is not enough for me to change my mind.

PS3 players will definitely appreciate the extra content, but is it really a good enough incentive to purchase this version of the game? An hour can pass just like that nowadays when playing.

Assassin's Creed 3 is out on October 30 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. There will be a Wii U version of the game but no date has been announced.

Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch coming next week

Konami just announced that the patch to finally include trophy support to Metal Gear Solid 4 will be out on Monday, August 6. It has been requested by hardcore MGS4 fans, and they finally got their wish five years later. Here's the complete trophy list for all you trophy whores.

A bit disappointing that it took them this long to just implement 20 trophies into the game. Still, I'll definitely play this game again next week to see if I can get the Platinum.

The patch will also allow players to install the full game into their PS3, rather than the few gigabytes installed in each chapter of the game.
