Mass Effect Trilogy coming this November

Mass Effect Trilogy Bioware just announced Mass Effect Trilogy, which is pretty much all Mass Effect games wrapped up in one neat package. It's out on November and it will be available on Xbox 360, and PC. For PS3 though, the trilogy will be released on a later date.

It will be released on November 6, 2012 for Xbox 360, and PC. It will be priced at $59.99.

The first Mass Effect is finally heading to Playstation 3. I'm pretty sure they are currently working on porting the game to the PS3, which is why the PS3 version of the trilogy is planned for a later date. I didn't think they would bother to bring Mass Effect 1 to the PS3, but I guess they had to because of this package. Wouldn't be much of a trilogy without the first, now would it?

as you can see above, it will include all three games, and an exclusive artbook, all wrapped up in a premium foil box.

Day 1 Digital announced by Sony, big titles can be downloaded on the day of their release

Just in case your lazy but have tons of games to buy on October, Sony's got your back on that one. Big titles such as Assassin's Creed 3, Resident Evil 6, Dishonored, NBA 2k13, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, 007: Legends, Doom: BFG Edition, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted can be pre-purchased and can be downloaded on the day the game gets released.

The program is called Day 1 Digital, which gives PS3 owners a choice to pre-purchase the big titles hitting this October. PS Plus members gets an extra treat in this program. NBA 2k13, Dishonored, Doom: BFG Edition, Need for Speed: Most Wanted will have a 10% discount on pre-orders for PS Plus members.

If you're not into have your own physical copy, this would be perfect for you. I still prefer walking up on a store, lining up to get your copy of the game.

This goes to show that digital copies could potentially replace physical copies in the near future. PC games are mostly digital nowadays thanks to Steam, and programs like this pushes that same method into consoles. You will have players with tons of games on accounts rather that in your shelves.

Do you still prefer physical copies of your product? Or are you fine with digital copies?

Oh and just in case why I called the two discounted games "unusual", have a look at their trailers below. Unusual is not bad, it's actually refreshing at times.

Tokyo Jungle

I might buy Tokyo Jungle with an even lower priced. Just because I can actually play as a deer and hunt as a Pomeranian dog. What will Japanese developers create next?

The Walking Dead Game Season 1 releasing on December 4

The Walking Dead Game Telltale Games just announced that season 1 of The Walking Dead Game will be released as a full game on December 4 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. This means that season 1 will be definitely wrap up before December 4 hits.

The announcement was made on Telltale Games official Twitter account  revealing that the entire season will be released on disc.

Now, if you have not played any of the episodes, I highly suggest you do. I've played the first and second episodes of the first season and it's one of the most well-crafted stories in a video game this year. You will care for these bunch of characters trying to survive, and at the end of each episode, you just can't wait to play the next one, just like any good series.

The third episode is now out on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The last two episodes, "Around Every Corner", and "No Time Left", has no release date at the moment, but thanks to this bit of news, at least we know this season will wrap up this year.

Project x Zone

Project x Zone I am a huge sucker for crossovers. Put in two or more of my favorite characters/shows/games together and usually I'm on it in a heartbeat even though it might be one of the worst thing man has ever created. Crossovers are one of my guilty pleasures.

Project x Zone is a crossover tactics game by Capcom, SEGA, Namco Bandai and Banpresto. From the looks of things the combat looks very similar to one of my favorite DS games which is Super Robot Wars OG Saga wherein attacks are done via simple buttons inputs but the fun is that attacks puts enemies into a juggle state and you have to time your buttons inputs to keep the combo going.

Aside from the awesome addicting combat, the roster of video game and anime characters here is ridiculous. I'd try to name them all but this is something that you just have to see. The sad truth about this game is that most likely due to licensing issues, this game will never be released outside of Japan. But how could anyone not want this game? I mean just look at Ryu and Ken's attacks at around the 6:30 mark.

There has been a rumor that Namco Bandai is considering to localize this in English depending on how well it performs in Japan. There's still hope!
