Resident Evil: Revelations coming to consoles and PC in May

resident_evil_revelations Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil: Revelations is heading to consoles. The former 3DS only title will get improved HD visuals, an added difficulty level, a terrifying new monster and improvements to raid mode. Check out the announce trailer below.

Resident Evil: Revelations was released on the 3DS last February, and is heading over to consoles on May 21 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U. The game will also be available for download on the Playstation 3 and PC on the same day, with Xbox 360 and the Wii U to come later.

It will be priced at $49.99 in the US, so it should come out cheap here in the Philippines.

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm opening cinematic gives goosebumps

HeartoftheSwarm_Kerrigan Blizzard just released the Heart of the Swarm cinematic trailer. It's impressive, it's visually stunning, and damn those Ultralisks are huge! Check it out below.

Starcraft 2's first expansion goes live on March 12. Most of the Starcraft 2 population will definitely flock over to the multiplayer once they run the expansion for the first time, but there's still a good number of people (me included) that can't wait to start playing the campaign.

PSN's 13 for 13 sale coming tomorrow

13 for 13 sale

Just when you thought all the video game sales are finally over, Sony decides to throw one to start 2013. If you have any spare change from the holidays, check out the 13 titles going on a discounted price on PSN tomorrow.

For regular PSN members, you get a 50% off on the titles on sale. But for PS Plus members, you get the usual 75% off. Take Note: This is sale is happening on the US PSN Store. Here's the list of games:

  • LittleBigPlanet Karting $39.99 ( Now: $19.99 / PS Plus : $10.00)
  • The Unfinished Swan $14.99 ( Now: $7.49 / PS Plus : $3.75)
  • Ratchet & Clank $14.99 ( Now:$7.49 /  PS Plus :$3.75)
  • Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy $7.99 ( Now: $3.99 / PS Plus : $2.00)
  • Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds Complete Collection $24.99 ( Now: $12.49 / PS Plus : $6.25)
  • Warp $9.99 ( Now: $4.99 / PS Plus : $2.50)
  • Shank 2 $9.99 ( Now: $4.99 / PS Plus :  $2.50)
  • NiGHTS into dreams… $9.99 ( Now: $4.99 / PS Plus : $2.50)
  • Jet Set Radio $9.99 ( Now: $4.99 / PS Plus : $2.50)
  • The House of the Dead: OVERKILL Extended Cut $19.99 (Now: $9.99 / PS Plus : $5.00)
  • Psychonauts $9.99 ( Now: $4.99 / PS Plus : $2.50)
  • Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 $39.99 ( Now: $19.99 / PS Plus : $10.00)
  • Machinarium $9.99 ( Now: $4.99 / PS Plus : $2.50)

The one game that stands out for me is The Unfinished Swan. For PS Plus players, it will only cost $3.75? Even 7 bucks for regular members is a steal. Even LittleBigPlanet Karting is worth getting considering it being a new title and already going down that low.

PS Plus will also get a content update tomorrow with Foosball 2012 going free to all members. Also, the PS Vita title EscapeVektor will be getting a 20% off.

Got any money left to spend? I sure as hell don't have any.

PayPal can now be used to fund PSN wallets online for your US accounts

paypal

For players that use a US account for their PS3, the option to add money into your PSN account through PayPal is now available.

After the long PSN maintenance that took around 2 days, the service went back online and PSN Trophies tweeted that PayPal is now an option to add funds to your virtual wallet through Sony Entertainment Online's website.

There is no option yet to top up via your PS3 console. To add funds with PayPal, just head over SOE's website, login using your PSN details, and you will see the PayPal option when you go to your wallet tab. You can choose from either $5, $10, $20, and $50.

This has been a long-awaited option for most players. The only way to add funds for years was via credit card or PSN prepaid cards.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and its boss battles

MGR bosses Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is out next month and Konami just released yet another trailer that focuses on the game's boss battles. No, they are not huge monstrosities that cover half the screen. It is simply cyborg bosses with unique concepts backing them up. Check out the trailer below.

With a game that's all about going over the top, Platinum Games is showing that you don't need a big baddie to bring out good boss battles. They look like a lot of fun, especially the boss that's made up of sliced pieces of himself.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is out on March 19 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. And I can't wait to just get the game, kick back, relax, and just mindlessly slice everything up like a maniac.
