E3 2011: Kirby Wii

Remember that Kirby "non-epic yarn" post I made back in January showing brief gameplay footage of what looked to be a REAL Kirby game on the Wii?

We finally get a trailer for it and oh man is this the Kirby game I have been waiting for. The pink marshmallow is back with out the yarn. Super sucking, swallowing (twss) and power copying is back like it should be. What looks to be new powers and amped up versions of older powers are included.

You know what the best part is? 4 player co-op! Now stop reading this and just watch the damn video and bathe in its awesome.

E3 2011: Forza Motorsport 4

Now right off the batt, the obvious sentence coming out of your mouth would be "How does it compare to GT5?". Now in my opinion, graphics wise GT5 is still superior but Forza 4 still looks gorgeous in terms of graphics.

I haven't played a Forza game yet so I don't know how the driving feels. However, there will be a smart AI mode where you essentially train your driver. There will also be Kinect compatibility so what they claim is that Forza 4 is playable for any age group. Kids can use the easy Kinect controls, the more hardcore players can use the controller for more precision and can dive into car customization and all that jazz.

None of us here at TMG own a Xbox 360 at the moment but I can say that I am excited about Forza 4. This game will further fuel the flames of the PS4 vs Xbox 360 fan boy war.

On a side note, I hate how they used the word "Epic" in this trailer. It's things like these that ruin the word.

E3 2011: Uncharted: Golden Abyss Gameplay (PS Vita)

One of the first games shown for the PS Vita back when it was revealed under the code name 'NGP'.

Nathan Drake takes his adventures over to the portable platform with a new game. Players can traverse the environment by either using the buttons or tapping ledges and stuff using the OLED touchscreen. Other touchscreen "minigames" such as scratching items to reveal hidden messages and solving puzzles kinda reminds me of a lot of DS shovelware.

It's gimmicky but as long as it doesn't hinder the rest of the game then I'm fine with it.

Just look at those graphics! And it'll be in the palm of your hand this holiday season when Sony releases the PS Vita.
