Ico / Shadow of the Colossus Collection HD Comparison
Finally, we get a trailer showing off the differences between the PS2 Ico and Shadow of the Colossus compared to the PS3 HD up-res.
Aside from the widescreen and hi-resolution graphics, the infamous framerate of Shadow of the Colossus will be resolved in the HD collection. If it was already a spectacular sight on the PS2, just imagine.

Impressions: Arcana Heart 2
I just saw a video of Arcana Heart 3 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and the fighting mechanics looked interesting. A sort of Melty Blood-esque fighting game featuring anime girls of every kind. Sounds like a perfect game right?
This game can let you combo easily (even though they're totally n00b combos) which gives you instant satisfaction. I guess you could say this game is mash friendly. Moves are executed via Street Fighter means. Dragon punches, fireballs, flash kicks etc. Super moves are more MvC-ish with a single swipe of a fireball command and pressing multiple attack buttons together.
Though it may look campy, there's a deep fighting game in there somewhere. I just don't know how to pull off those fancy combos and infinites yet and I can't understand a freak of Japanese text so that's not helping. Time to consult good ol Google.
Over all I'm having fun with this old 2D fighter, it looks to be one of those 'easy to pick up, hard to master' kind of games which I like.

I'll say it again, if anybody is interested in joining the Mortal Kombat Tournament, you must REGISTER FIRST! no walk-in registration.
I'm definitely joining this tournament and currently doing some practice with a friend of the Street Fighter Tournament. I'm not good, but i at least want to bring a good fight. Going to play Chun Li regardless of Yun/Yang now present thanks to Arcade Edition. She is just my character, i know her too well. She is not considered one of the best characters in SF4 but she isn't the worst. I'm still currently looking for an answer against Fei Long Yun and Yang characters.
Mortal Kombat on the other hand, I'm registered but have no clue on how to properly play the game at the moment. It's going to be hilarious but it's all plain fun for that tournament. I will get my ass kicked but it's all for supporting their community.
Yes sorry for the delay on this information. I know the Tournament is a few days away but like i said, better late than never.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night - Changes in the script
Ok, so I just replayed Castlevania Symphony of the Night just a few months ago and after hearing song covers from the soundtrack, the urge to play it has once again built up.
I replayed the original Playstation version and remembered that Alucard's voice in the PSP port and other games past that were different. It made me search on youtube for the cutscenes and see if there were any difference. Lo and behold, complete voice cast make over.
I know it's just my nostalgia talking but I prefer the original dialogue. Sure it's filled with hammy overacting but that's what made it stick to your head. I could recite the whole intro conversation between Richter and Dracula if you asked me to. I had my cousin play the original SotN after I finished it earlier this year and even he has memorized the lines since he's beat it multiple times too.
What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk. Have at you!
