Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations
Alright ninja fans. It's time to trade in your Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm because the next Naruto game from Bandai and CyberConnect 2 is here!
From the looks of it, it seems that the roster from the first and second Ultimate Ninja Storm games are included as well as newer characters from the on going Naruto Shippuden anime. I simply love how CyberConnect2 captures the zany style of the anime and yet bring it's over-the-top-ness even further.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm has some of the best cellshaded graphics I have ever seen and even though the new game is essentially running on the same engine, it never ceases to amaze me. Rasengan!

Weekend, what are you playing?
July has officially started and what better way to kick off the first weekend of the month by playing some video games! What are you playing? Oh, and happy 4th of July to all you people over there in the United States of America! Have a good one guys.
Migoy: As I said in one of my more recent post, spending some time playing Mega Man Powered Up. I got all the robot masters and I'm currently in Wily stage 3, the room with the teleporters that bring me to clones of the robot masters. I gotta say it's pretty touch fighting them all in a row, even with all their powers. Maybe I'll try an MMO or two this weekend just for shits and giggles.
Quash: This weekend its Red Dead Redemption for me. Since they announced a bonus XP weekend for multiplayer, I'm taking this chance to reach max level . I'm 3 trophies away from getting the Platinum and reaching max level is one of them. Also playing the Uncharted 3 beta which is turning out to be a good one. Will make an impression post of the beta's pros and cons soon.
Arlie: I'm playing Red Dead Redemption since it's x4 XP weekend that will end on Monday because it's a holiday. On the first day, I managed to reach the max level for multiplayer which is 50, I'm currently at 1st Legendary Level 30. Same with Quash, I also play Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta.
Nintendo of America heard us and responded
Operation Rainfall is gaining a lot of buzz about their battle of wanting The Last Story, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower localized, Nintendo of America finally heard the fans. They reposnded by posting a status on their Facebook page that said this.
"Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say “never,” but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans!"
Real dick move Nintendo (of America). Not cool.
Black Rock Studio closes down
So apparently it's the end for Pure and Split/Second developer Black Rock Studio. But not all is lost.
The studio went through a round of layoffs in the month of May that affected around 100 jobs. Only 40 were spared at the time. Some of the former employees have landed on their feet and RoundCube Entertainment was formed in early June, headed by Nick Baynes, the game director for Split/Second.
"Disney Interactive Studios confirms that Black Rock Studios' current project has not been greenlit for further development, consequently the company informed employees yesterday of the intent to enter a consultation process on the proposal to close the studios," wrote Disney in a statement. This news comes months after the studio laid of 40 percent of its work force.
I enjoyed Split/Second and I heard that Pure was a pretty kickass game too, here's to hoping for a sequel to Split/Second!

Moar Mega Man madness
Continuing my Mega Man craze, I put back Mega Man Powered Up in my PSP. you might have caught me playing it live on our Justin.tv channel.
The demo of both the new style and old style of cutman's stages where included in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X and when I last played Powered Up, I kinda cheated and just downloaded a save game on Gamefaqs with everything unlocked cause I was too lazy to unlock everything back then.
Now I started on a clean slate and I just beat all the 8 Robot Masters on the Easy and Normal difficulty. Easy so that I can beat them with just the Mega Buster so that they can become playable and Normal so that I can find the creation parts and beating stuff on Normal will unlock something later on.
So yeah, been playing that. Gutsman's stage is still the biggest load of BS in the Mega Man universe. I curse those damn moving platforms! Timeman's stage is also kind of a bitch at a certain point.

Did I mention that the game has a level editor mode? You can create custom stages and share them online. Here's an example of a stage that's impossible to beat. XD
