Street Fighter X Tekken Comic Con 2011 Cinematic Trailer

More info coming from Comic con 2011. Capcom not only revealed new characters such as Dhalsim and Poison for Capcom side, Steve Fox and Yoshimitsu for Tekken, but they also released this new cinematic trailer of other characters to join Street Fighter X Tekken.

It's an awesome trailer. They reveal Hugo with Poison, gets their asses kicked, and in the end, Guy and Cody shows up. It's pretty awesome that their adding more Final Fight characters, I bet their going to officially show gameplay when they reveal their Tekken pairs. Poor Haggar though, if he had his pipe it would have been a different story. Respect the pipe!

Street Fighter x Tekken - Poison joins the brawl

"Watch out boys, it's a trap."

Whoa! WHOA! I was totally not expecting this. Poison is now a playable character in Street Fighter x Tekken. The pink haired manlady dishes out the pain against anyone who gets in his/her way.

Looks like we get a glimpse of a new mechanic too. Aside from, what I'm guessing are character specific, team attack supers, looks like you can do a team super where your partner will be AI controlled and will try to flank your opponent by jumping behind them and then attacking. Using this wisely can setup great unblockables and cross-ups.

Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition Launch Date Announced

Today at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011, Capcom revealed the launch dates for Third Strike: Street Fighter III Online Edition. The game will come to PlayStation Network on August 23 for $14.99, and to Xbox Live Arcade on August 24 for 1200 Microsoft Points.

The trailer shows 3 different visual modes: classic, arcade and HD; an 8-player tournament mode, trial mode, replay uploads directly to Youtube, and watch live streaming replays. Other features like trophy and achievements are also supported.
