Two Best Friends Play: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

The best friends continue their epic journey to troll each other via electronic video games until one of them dies, or finds out who is behind the mysterious futuristic conspiracy of the future that involves robots and mysteries.

I want to play this game. Back in the day, I missed out on playing the first Deus Ex due to just not knowing zilch about computers and not having a very good Desktop. I have heard a lot of great things about the first Deus Ex and watching Brad from 4playerpodcast play a bit of it on their live channel really got me interested. I 've also been hearing a lot of positive things about Human Revolution too so it's definitely in my 'must-play' list.

Btw, this episode is hilarious.

Namco Banda x Tecmo Koei?

Gaming giants Namco Bandai and Tecmo Koei, two companies with two names each  lol, have put up a site showing a countdown to a mystery game.

I honestly have no idea what this game might. The only thing I can think of is a Dynasty Warrior-esque game featuring Dragon Ball characters or maybe a Naruto x Dead or Alive fighting game? How bout you guys? Any guesses?

XCOM E3 2011 demo

Just like Bioshock: Infinite and Metro: First Light, 2k Games Only showed a new trailer for their take on XCOM with their gameplay demo only shown for the people at E3. Now they finally released the demo with commentary. I've said this before and I'll say it again, "why is XCOM an FPS!?".

I mean, I love XCOM. It was an amazing game back then. Why can't they just improve the old concept instead? XCOM was originally a strategy game with turn-based actions, and it's pretty deep for a game made in 1994. Commanding your two agents and the weapon research is the only thing in this game that is true to the old XCOM games. Newcomers to XCOM might have a kick out of this, but gamers that knew the old XCOM games won't like the direction that 2k Games took for their take on XCOM.

Here's an idea of the original game. I remember me being pretty cautious since an alien can be in any corner to ambush your men. It's all about strategy.

No Commander Shepard after Mass Effect 3

Official look of female Shepard in Mass Effect 3

Not only does Mass Effect 3 bring an epic conclusion of bioware's trilogy, it will also be the last time we will see Commander Shepard fighting to save the human race. Of course, we have no idea what happens to Shepard yet. Producer Michael Gamble says "After this, Commander Shepard's story is complete".

With that said, if there will be more games set in the Mass Effect universe , Shepard won't be part of it. This universe they created brings a lot of possibilities of a new focus. With the races, worlds, and other likable characters in Mass Effect, anything is possible after Mass Effect 3. It can be another RPG or a completely different game. This is definitely not the last time we see Mass Effect

I just recently survived the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2, so my save file in my PS3 is all set when Mass Effect 3 hits next year on March 6.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim information from PAX

Skyrim was obviously in this year's PAX and I just watched a very interesting interview with Lead Artist of Skyrim, Matt Carofano. They covered a lot of the game and provided new information about the game.

They mentioned a lot in this interview. Same sex marriage, the different critters, the Centurions(not familiar with this race), about downloadable content, The Throat of the Worldand a lot more. Skyrim will be just as big as Oblivion but with more content. This game will definitely have many gamers hiding in their rooms for a month. If ever you're getting it on the PC, just like Morrowind and Oblivion, the game editor will be released with the game so mods will be around for Skyrim, making it the best platform to play this game in if you ask me.

I don't believe the system requirements is out for the PC version. So not sure yet if my PC can take Skyrim or not(havn't updated my PC). If I can't, I'll have no choice but to get it on either PS3 or Xbox 360 and miss out on those sweet mods that will be coming out after game release.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be out on Nov 11, 2011 on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
