DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi - Hero Mode Boss Battle

Now the giant boss battles here look exactly the same as in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm but I don't really mind as I just look at this as the 'icing on the cake'. From simplistic patterns to easy quick time events, just think of it as a fun little mini game in the Dragon Ball universe.

What I would like to point out in this video is at the 1:33 mark, we get to see a custom Saiyan character go Super Saiyan which answers the question in my previous post. However, this still leaves the other question I asked unanswered. Will you only be able to create Saiyans?

In case you wanted to take a peek at how the character creation menu looks, here's a vid.

MGS: Peace Walker HD supports 4-player online co-op

Ok, when I first heard about Peace Walker being included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection the first think that came into mind "will there be online support"? Another question rumbling in my brain was "If there's no online, will they just remove multiplayer in general?" which is a big issue since Peace Walker is basically Monster Hunter and a huge amount of the game's enjoyment relies on multiplayer.

Well my worries are over since Hideo Kojima posted on his Twitter account that you will be able to play in game with up to 3 other people online. The tweet also mentions that the game will be running at a full 60 frames per second and that character dialogues will pop up at random during loading screens.

Aside from Peace Walker, the HD Collection will also include Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence means that the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 will be included as well.

Pre-order RAGE in Datablitz for Anarchy DLC

More pre-orders for us! If you live in the Philippines, and want RAGE badly, well you can pre-order now and earn some extra goodies for doing so.

It's good to see more pre-orders happening in Datablitz(our version of gamestop, sadly) aside from EA games. Why? well because if they have a pre-order option, then that means they will actually get the game on the said date. We mostly don't really get a game on the same date as the rest of the world. For example, Deus Ex: Human Revolution came out here days behind the actual date. The dlc is really a bonus, I'm more thrilled with the fact we have a date to look at here in the Philippines.

So hopefully more pre-orders. The Anarchy dlc said above will include:

  • Double barrel shotgun Wasteland settler design and ingenuity! Features compact form factor with plenty of muscle to take out everything from mutants, bandits and maybe even a lone Authority Enforcer.
  • Crimson elite armour This is the most sought-after armour in the wasteland. Constructed of hardened plate armour, this gear was created specifically to withstand the toughest wasteland battles. It also features larger component storage, allowing you to carry more parts that will aid in the fabrication of advanced engineering items.
  • Fists of rage A classic weapon for close quarters combat. When you've run out of ammunition and fists are the only option, these razor sharp knuckle blades will give you that combat edge.
  • Rat rod buggy Improve your odds of survival in the wasteland with this vehicle that comes equipped with a front smash guard and durable protection.

People interested in the pre-order here in the Philippines - Just simply head over to any Datablitz store and cough up P1,000 for PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game. You have until Oct 2 to pre-order the game and earn the DLC. Save the receipt given and wait for October 4 to hit. The pre-order only lasts until October 23 so don't wait too long to claim your copy, but I'm sure that will never be the case though.

Other countries will upgrade pre-order customers to the Anarchy Edition instantly to earn this DLC. Still not certain if it will be the same here. Will we get an instant upgrade and get an Anarchy Edition copy or simply earn the codes from the desk. They tend to do that sometimes.

Dragon Quest X revealed for Wii and Wii U

Square Enix revealed this for the Wii years ago but never came to light. Now their revealing it again but this time with an online focus.  It will be out for the Wii and Wii U next year and will be called Dragon Quest X Online Yes, the latest installment which makes the Dragon Quest series reach double digits will be in a form of an MMO. It is still not certain what type of MMO it will be. Will it be the traditional MMORPGs? or just a small group similar to Monster Hunter Online(only released in Japan). Regardless of how this game will be, Andriasang mentions that the Dragon Quest X Online website contains a TBA on "usage fee".  Still not officially confirmed but knowing how this goes, it will have the traditional monthly fees aside from the initial purchase of the game.

Dragon Quest X Online will have Wii and Wii U compatibility so players can play with each other no matter what version they decide to pick up. Of course, Wii U will have an advantage since it will have improved graphics. 3DS compatibility was also mentioned but not confirmed at the moment.

In regards to gameplay, the only info out is that players may craft weapons and own their own property. They will also include a feature that makes players use their friend's character as an NPC when their offline. That's it so far.

Level-5 developed the last 2 games but so far only Square Enix was mentioned in this project.

The game is set for a 2012 release and since its also developed for the Wii U, a release date of Dragon Quest X Online should be around the time of the Wii U release. That's a long way from now. So fans of the series don't hold you breath waiting for this one. They also mentioned a beta before release.

Trailer is now up on YouTube together with a lengthy presentation of the game. You can't understand a single thing, but you get to see the game in action.
