Have a look at the world of Skyrim
Two days, just two days left until Elder Scrolls: Skyrim hit's the shelves. So Bethesda released a video introducing you to the world you'll be running around for X hours this weekend. Yes, I'm obviously excited for this game. It's going to be yet another long weekend for me.
The game looks amazing. Thought that NPC during 1:02 in the video made me realize that this is still Bethesda's work. Regardless of them building this world from the ground up with a new engine, and making it look amazing; we just might experience the same stiff animation from previous games.
How I wish we could just skip the next two days. Watching it on 720p was a treat indeed.
Ubisoft confirms a new Assassin's Creed for 2012
After the release of Assassin's Creed 2 back in 2009, Ubisoft has been releasing a new Assasin's Creed title each year. With Assassin's Creed:Revelations coming out soon, Ubisoft confirms that they will indeed release yet another one for 2012.
This is no surprise. The bigger question is if their rushing this franchise out the door. Usually when a great game developer creates an amazing game, they aim higher for the sequel, this is not the case for Assassin's Creed after the second game. This franchise seems that they're fine going sideways - progress in the story but have small changes to the game.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed the next Assassin's Creed for 2012 during the company's earning call. "There will be another great, full-fledged Assassin’s Creed title next year," he said. "It will be a major release and we’ll be communicating more about it in the coming months."
Assassin's Creed: Revelations will be out in a few weeks and will be the last chapter for Ezio and Altair. This game for 2012 will revolve around the last story arc left; Desmond Miles.
If Assassin's Creed 3 is actually coming next year, or maybe Assassin's Creed:[insert title here], I doubt it will be the last. They could easily find different story arc's to keep the Assassin's Creed franchise rolling.
I'm not a big fan of games having around a year of development time, so I'm kinda iffy about it. Quality could suffer. Releasing a new title each year hopefully won't come as a regular for future franchises. I'm fine waiting for the sequel just like the rest.
Assassin's Creed: Revelations is still on its way and will be out on November 15 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

TMG Podcast Episode 7 - Holy crap! World of Warcraft Will Never Die
In this episode we take more about battlefield 3 and Dark Souls, only difference is Battlefield 3 is out and we've been playing it. After our banter we tackle a bit of news. Two big announcements coming from Blizzcon 2011 and the reveal of GTA V. Excited for another Grand Theft Auto?
End of October had some pretty interesting reveals. Blizzcon 2011 ended, and instead of earning a released date for Diablo 3 in the event, we find out another expansion for WoW is on the way. Mists of Pandaria? Man their running out of ideas seriously. Blizzcon wasn't a total lose for me since they revealed Starcraft 2's new units coming form Heart of the Swarm.
We wanted to talk more about Nintendo as a whole since I think they need to get their act together. The future of Nintendo is the Wii U and we still have little information, at the same time the 3DS isn't earning as much as they expected leaving them to add stuff like peripheral for a right stick(Most likely for Monster hunter-ish games). Also wanted to talk about some Uncharted 3 since I've finished the epic campaign. We'll talk more about that next time.
Impressions:
- Dark Souls - Battlefield 3
News:
- World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Expansion announcement - Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm new units reveal - DC Universe Online going Free to Play actually working - GTA V announced

Trucks carrying MW3 shipments get jacked!
There are some crazy people out there. A trucking carrying 6,000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was hijacked in France.
The story goes that two men rammed the delivery truck using a van, came out wearing hoods or skimasks armed with knives then used teargas to knock the drivers down while making off with the loot. The shipment was said to be worth 400,000 Euros. That's not the end of the story. Another truck was hijacked in France on Saturday. This time with 3 men who used a "weapon" to stela the whole truck after blocking the road. That truck was said to have 380,000 Euros worth of MW3 copies.
It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round.

Phoenix Wright movie looks about right
The live action Phoenix Wright (Gyakuten Saiban) movie gets a real trailer and I stand by my claim that it looks like they nailed it.
The intensity of the court battles looks to be brought to life the right way, with powerful shouting, finger pointing, and crazy hair styles. Evidence being presented via hologram screens is a very nice touch. If you want a videogame-to-liveactionmovie done right, get a director who knows and loves the source material enough to do it justice. Takashi Miike, do not disappoint me.
I do have one gripe though. Why does Maya look so old?
