Soulcalibur V DLC Announced

Soulcalibur V isn't even out yet but Namco Bandai wants to give you the heads up on the DLC packs for the game.  It's nothing like an extra character or anything, just more items to customize your characters with like bikinis, wings, kimono, the usual DLC we love/hate.

These DLC packs will also include original music from past Soulcalibur games, which sounds like a good addition since it's priced $1.99 or 160 MS points each pack. There's three packs mentioned and one of them will be accessible on launch day.

Here's each pack in detail:

Pack 1: Launch Day

• Nine exotic customization items including bikinis, wings and face paints
• Original music from Soul Blade and Soulcalibur (tracks also available individually for $.99 or 80 MS points)

Pack 2: Valentine’s Day February 14th

• Nine fearsome customization items including breast plate, kimono and animal heads
• Original music from Soulcalibur II and III  (tracks also available individually for $.99 or 80 MS points)

Pack 3: February 28th

• Nine exclusive customization items including mask, face paint, camouflage and skull
• Original music from Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur : Broken Destiny (tracks also available individually for $.99 or 80 MS points)

Not fond if these kinds of DLC but if your into the customization part of the game, you might get a kick out of this. Soulcalibur V is out in January 31 on North America and February 3 in Europe on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Mass Effect 3: Special Forces Trailer Shows Multiplayer For The First Time

Bioware has finally decided to reveal the Multiplayer aspect of Mass Effect 3. The Special Forces trailer teases the multiplayer side by showing the types of races you can pick. It's said to be compared as the Horde mode of Gears of War were you and three other players try to hold off waves after waves of enemies going at you in all directions. I didn't like the idea at first having multiplayer in Mass Effect, but seeing it now, I can't wait to shoot some reapers with a buddy or two.

Definitely going to be a Turian. A game I can't wait to get my hands on. Mass Effect 3 will be in stores on March 6, 2012 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition on Xbox 360 Dated

CD Projekt just announced a release date for the console edition of The Witcher 2. It will be out on April 17, 2012 and will be the Enhanced Edition of the game. The Enhanced Edition will included four hours worth of additional content plus DLC already released in the PC version. Controls have been tweaked for console use , new intro-cinematics, and new end-game cinematics ( based on your choices in the game). The new intro cinematic is out for our viewing pleasure and makes me want to reinstall and play this epic RPG all over again.

It's a pretty looking game, pretty enough for people to call it the best looking game on the Xbox 360. The Enhanced Edition will cost $60 while the Dark Edition will cost $80. The eighty dollar Collector's Edition of the game will have making of the game discs, a 200-page art book, a replica of the Wolf's Head Medallion, and a bunch of stickers. The quest guide and world map will be included in the Enhanced and Dark Editions of the game.

I played the game last year and its one of the best of 2011. Xbox 360 owners, give this title a shot, you won't regret it.

Street Fighter X Tekken: PS3 and Vita exclusive characters

PS3 and future PS Vita owners will have more exclusives characters in their roster. One coming from the Capcom side, and one from the Namco Bandai side for each platform. PS3 owners will have Pac-Man riding on what looks to be a M and Megaman, but not the look most of us know him for. PS Vita will have Cole Mcgrath and Kuro & Toro. Exclusives characters cool, but really weird additions.

Wonder how Mega Man fans will react using an awful 1980s cover art as the Blue Bomber's look. I can already see mixed reactions with this already. The devs wanted to include Capcom and Namco bandai's mascots in the game in a goofy kind of way. Well, they've succeed.

Huge question - Where's the Xbox 360 love? Well they wanted to add exclusive character for the console, but Capcom say's the timing prevented them from doing so. A post from Shacknews reveals that if negotiations with Microsoft pushed through, possible characters for the Xbox 360 would have been either Master Chief from the Halo series or Marcus Fenix from Gears of War. Too bad, would have been cool seeing those characters going head to head against Jin and Ryu.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Variety Trailer

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is only days away and Square Enix wants to make it clear that the sequel won't be as linear as the first game. Trailer is all about  variety, showing what you can do in the game if you need a break from all the drama..err I mean story.

I've tried the demo and while I do appreciate the changes made in the sequel, It wasn't enough for me to plan on getting it when it releases on january 31. The story of the first game was a mess and from what I'm seeing, it got worse.
