Playstation Vita coming out next week in Europe and US, Sony releases new ad campaign
The Playstation Vita is out next week in the US and Europe and it's only natural of Sony to release a new ad campaign. It's called 'The World Is In Play".
The Playstation Vita hits US and EU shelves on February 22.
Big question, will the Vita do well in the US and Europe?

Mass Effect 3 demo out now on Xbox Live Marketplace, demo will be up for other platforms soon
Today is either Happy Single's Appreciation/Valentines Day, Twisted Metal Day, or Mass Effect 3 demo day! That's right, Mass Effect 3's single player demo is now out first on Xbox Live. PS3 and PC will have the demo in a few hours so patience guys, just a few more hours until we try that sweet tech blade and many more!
Just as Bioware promised, the Mass Effect 3 demo will include two single player missions, then a taste of multiplayer coop which will be released to all players on February 17. For people with the early multiplayer access(via Battlefield 3, etc), you can go and try it out right now together with the single player. The mulitplayer of Mass Effect 3 is a co-op and the demo will include two maps: Slum and Noveria.
I've been trying to download the demo on my Xbox 360 but I keep getting "Can't download this" error right when I start it. My guess is millions of fans are trying to download the exact same thing, so I'll try again in a few hours.
The single player demo is said to take around 1-2 hours of your time.
Want more info about the demo? Here's the FAQ.
Don't forget, Mass Effect 3 hits stores on March 9 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Don't forget about The Last Guardian, it's still coming, eventually...
Still remember The Last Guardian? That Playstation 3 exclusive that has been in development for the longest time? With Fumito Ueda now working on the game on a contract basis, fans were wondering on the state of the game. Well, Sony would like to assure the fans that the game is still going to happen. It's just taking long...
1up was able to have a quick interview with Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida during the DICE conference, and asks for an update for The Last Guardian. Yoshida said "The project has been making progress, but slow progress. So that's tough, but we haven't changed any focus. It's still a really important project and a vision we want to see realized, and Fumito's vision is really causing a very difficult challenge for the developers, so there's some scrapping and rebuilding -- iteration in the process. That's why [it's taking so long]."
The Last Guardian has been in production for around 6 years with the last three years with not much information of the game. The last info about the game was about Fumito Ueda leaving Sony, which makes speculations fly all over the place on the status of the game. Fumito Ueda is the creator of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
Finally some info about this game. It was brief, but at least the game is still alive. Still no information about the game's release but let's hope it comes out before the reveal of the Playstation 3's successor, yea?

Weekend, what are you playing?
Already half-way through February, time sure flies when you're having fun. So, video games! What are you playing?
Migoy: Still on my quest to finish Grand Theft Auto IV, amazing game. Booted up a bit of Soul Calibur V and I swear, Soul calibur still has the cheapest AI in any fighting game. You hit a button, the CPU reads your input and instantly punshies with a faster attack and so on. The netcode is still pretty good but I have experienced some trouble finding online ranked matches, maybe I was just looking for matches in the wrong time of day. Popped in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, did a few challenges, fought and lost a few ranked matches, and played a bit of arcade mode.
Quash: All weekend, actually the whole week even, is all about Kindoms of Amalur: Reckoning. it's surprisingly very good and I can definitely see myself spending as much time as I did when I first played Skyrim, and that was around 100+ hours spent. I'm at the 27th hour mark on the game at Level 19 and I still have a lot of content to cover. As I move forward in the game, the gameplay just gets better and better with the number of options you are given to take down your enemies. It's one of the main reasons why I'm hooked. I fight whatever I see and it never gets old.
David Jaffe is giving fans a chance to shoot his truck
David Jaffe, creator of God of War and Twisted Metal series, is giving fans a chance to shoot a replica of Sweet Tooth's truck in the comfort of your home. Yes that's right, during the 14th and 15th of February, sign up via Facebook or Twitter and get a chance to pull the trigger on a machine gun from your very own PC. Pretty twisted ad campaign, check out the video.
I'm definitely going to sign up and see if I can shoot way over here in the Philippines. If it worked then awesome. No, sadness.
That's going to be tons of people pressing that button. Whoever is there to reload the gun is going to have a hard two days of work that's for sure.
Twisted Metal is coming out on Single's Appreciation Day, which is on February 14 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
