Pokemon Black and White 2 coming to Nintendo DS

Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 has been announced, and is the first Pokemon game with a number on it. What's even weird about this new title is that it's for the Nintendo DS, not the 3DS. It was announced during a tv show in Japan called Pokemon Smash and revealed the sequel will hit Japan on June. 

For the people that have a 3DS, you can still play the game but only in 2D. Have no idea why they didn't bother making it a 3DS title, maybe more Pokemon players have a DS? your guess is good as mine.

In terms of what is included in the sequel is still unknown. The reveal happened a few days ago so expect more news to hit the web in the next few weeks.

A US version of Pokemon White and Black 2 is confirmed to be released during this year. No exact date yet.

Weekend, what are you playing?

This week is PS Vita launch week. Did any of you get one? Or just too busy playing that certain game for X number of hours. You know the drill, tell us more!

Quash: This weekend I'm still on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Just like any RPG's, it takes weeks until you can say "Yea, I'm done." I'm level 33 and is now on my 60th hour on the game. It's a great game and still getting flooded with quests. Some are coming out as repetitive but there's always something to do in this game.

I was also able to give some time to play some Killzone 3. Since the announcement of the multiplayer mode hitting the PSN Store, I wanted to see if the servers were still active. After a couple of attempts to enter a game, I can already tell that there isn't much people playing the game anymore. Makes sense since this game is a year old now. I was able to get into a game with full players, but not like before which only took a minute to get into a full game.

Migoy: I'm moving to a different apartment this week so I've been busy doing stuff and since the internet hasn't been moved yet I'm not going to be broadcast for a few weeks. I was able to get a few scrubby matches of Soul Calibur V in when my cousin was here to help us out and we also got to try out the demo for the new SSX game. I gotta say the new SSX looks to be a pretty sweet game.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Brutality Trailer

Capcom released a new trailer showing the many ways to deal with the infected in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. There's lots of throat slitting, head stomping, and you can actually shove a grenade into a zombies mouth. Oh and just to let you know Capcom, adding a heavy rock band doesn't make it more brutal.

The ability to play in 4 player coop on both single player and multiplayer is what might just make me get this game. I really don't see it being a great game but playing with three buddies will make the purchase worthwhile. I can already see myself setting a friend to be Tyrant prey.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City comes out on March 20 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version coming on May 18.

Killzone 3 Multiplayer coming to PSN next week

To keep the addicting Killzone 3 multiplayer alive, Sony is implementing something interesting. Next week the multiplayer version of Killzone 3 will be on PSN for free. Catch is - They will implement a level cap.

Once you hit the level cap, you'll have to pay up in order to unlock the full multiplayer. Again To unlock it, it will only cost you $15. Pretty good deal and a way better than getting the retail version of the game.

To me, this is a win-win. Not only does it prevent servers from being a ghost town, you get to try the best part of Killzone 3 for free, and if you like, go ahead and unlock it. I have Killzone 3, and the multiplayer mode is the saving grace of the game. The singleplayer, not so much.  Sony is actually doing us a favor by removing the bad part of Killzone 3 and offering us the best part.

Again this is only for the multiplayer mode of Killzone 3. If you want to explore the single player campaign yourself, you'll have to get yourself a copy of the game.

[Updated]NCsoft taking more players to beta test Guild Wars 2

[Update] - And the chance to sign up for the Guild Wars 2 beta is over. NCsoft said that over 1 million signed up for the chance to join the beta test. So yes, were going against around a million of Guild Wars fans to get a beta test slot. Good luck to all.
