Three more days, here's the Mass Effect 3 launch trailer
Three more days until the fight for earth takes place. The video is full of action which is understandable since this is a launch trailer. As usual, the hype gets even bigger. My pre-order is all set and all I have to do is wait.
If people pre-ordered the game through Origin, EA has given the go signal to pre-load it. So when March 6 hits, all you have to do is launch the game and your set.
Mass Effect 3 is out on next week worldwide for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Bioshock Infinte finally has a release date
2k Games has finally given BioShock Infinite a release date. This four-year project of Irrational Games will be out on October 16, 2012 for the US and October 19 for the UK. This is one of the most highly anticipated game of 2012 and just like any other fan, I can't wait to get my hands on this game.
BioShock Infinite is set even before the events of the first BioShock. It has you playing as Booker Dewitt heading to the flying skies called "Columbia" in search for Elizabeth. The game looks amazing and if you haven't seen the demo given at last year's E3, your missing out. Take a look.
I love the BioShock series, and with how Infinite is turning out, it looks like it moving forward in the right direction. Again, BioShock Infinite will be out on October 16 in the US, and October 19 in the UK for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The box art of Assassin's Creed 3 has been released and pretty much confirms the game's setting. It will be in America and you'll be witnessing the American Revolution first-hand it seems.
Ubisoft confirmed the game's existence a few weeks ago. This game has a development time of three years so expect something entirely different.
Who's the new protagonist? what are the changes made for the third? No info yet but expect more about Assassin's Creed 3 in a few days, Ubisoft announced all the details of Assassin’s Creed III will be revealed on Monday March 5.
An assassin about to kill a red coat with a tomahawk, can't wait to find out more about this. Gameinformer's April cover is Assassin's Creed 3 and has an amazing image of the protagonist wielding a tomahaw and pistol with the american flag behind him. Below is the cover's wrap around, you can See more of the cover shots for the April cover here.

Monthly Gametime Roundup - February
Another month, another gametime roundup. Two months in the new year and luckily I'm still keeping up with counting my gametime.
It's become a habit for me to start up the timer on my cellphone every time I decide to play a game. There still have been some moments when i forget to start it up or turn it off right as I start the game or just when I end it but only for a few minutes so it isn't so bad. Sometimes I panic when I want to play a game but can't find my phone to start the timer with. You can view the list on Google Docs.
For this month I haven't been playing as often as I did in January and even missed a few days. Clocking in at about half the total time compared to last month, I can't really blame it on February not having as many days as January, we even got an extra day since 2012 is a leap year.
Here's the list of games I've played during the month of February and on what platform I played them on.
PS3: Grand Theft Auto IV Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Soul Calibur V Twisted Metal (Demo) Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations (Demo) SSX (Demo)
PSP: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max Super Stardust Portable Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X
Wii: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Rhythm Heaven Fever
DS: Kirby: Mass Attack Mega Man Zero Collection Tetris DS
GBA: Mega Man: Battle Chip Challenge
NES: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters Balloon Fight Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
iPod Touch: Fruit Ninja Lite
iPad 2: Fruit Ninja Lite HD
PC: Tetris Battle (Facebook) Super Crate Box SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer
Tetris Battle on Facebook still took a lot of my gametime but toned down near the end of the month. The multiplayer aspect of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was free on Steam for a weekend after which you could buy if you choose to do so, I didn't. I deleted that game when the free period expired, it's honestly not my kind of thing. Went a bit retro at some point and revisited a few old GBA and NES games to tickle my nostalgia bone. I did miss a few days near the end of the month which surprised me. I never imagined that I'd have a day without playing at least one video game since video games are very accessible now with mobile games and a plethora of portable systems. As for the iPod Touch and iPad 2 entries, I just borrowed them and tried out Fruit Ninja. Yes, I even timed those and no, I do not own an iPad 2 or an iPod Touch.
My total gametime for the month of February - 66:28:48
A new Baldur's Gate?????
A new Baldur's Gate!? is it true!? We have no idea, even the rest of the world has no clue yet. If you head over to Baldursgate.com, you'll see the logo, a quote from the game, and a background filled with portraits of characters in the game.
There's a lot of theories of what this could be really. A HD remastered edition, a port of the original games to mobile phones, a continuation of the Baldur's Gate series. Anything is possible at this point, but I sure hope it's a sequel.
If this comes out to be a new Baldur's Gate, it's about time. Baldur's gate is the series that started the RPG game with the ability to pause the game in order to issue commands to your character. That's what I always loved about Baldur's Gate and pretty much seperate itself from other games, which is also the reason why I got hyped for the release of the first Dragon Age. Since the Dragon Age series adopted that kind of gameplay, I was easily hooked until... Dragon Age 2 showed up.
Your guess is good as mine to what this might be. The latest game in this series was baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, which had no relation to the original game aside from it having the name.
