The Walking Dead Episode 2 gets a release date
Out of nowhere, Telltale has finally given a release date for The Walking Dead Episode 2: Starved For Help. Xbox 360 owners gets first dibs on the second episode while PS3 and PC owners will have to wait until Friday(June 29). If you don't plan on playing it on a 360, I suggest you avoid Youtube or any live streaming sites until then.
I had a blast with the first episode and it a great start for Telltale's five part game series. Episode 1 had quite a lot of heavy decisions that is said to shape your game's story as you go through each episode, so can't wait. Each episode will cost $5, if you still don't own Episode 1 but plan on getting the game, I suggest you opt for the bundle that gives you access to all five episodes when released. it will cost $20 right on the spot but it does save you $5.
Check out the trailer for episode 2 below. SPOILER BELOW!

Yet another delay, this time for Far Cry 3
Apparently game delays have become a trend for 2012. Ubisoft is pushing back Far Cry 3 from its September release all the way to a December release. Ubisoft said " We’re taking a little more time to create the best possible gameplay experience.”
The delay was announced during Ubisoft's press release. Far Cry 3 is now set to be released in North America on December 3, with the UK getting the game first on November 28, then Europe on November 30.
Damn those delays. But hey, at least it isn't pushed to 2013. To get your mind off the announced delay, check out the latest demo footage of the game from this year's E3.

Collector's Edition for Resident Evil 6 announced for Europe
Capcom just announced the Collector's Edition for Resident Evil 6 for Europe. What about the rest of the world you say? No word yet, but hopefully this package is available worldwide because any Resident Evil fan would love the contents. Here's what you get in Resident Evil 6's Collector's Edition.
- Resident Evil 6 Game
- Zombie Steel Book
- Exclusive RE6 hardback artbook showing concept art from the game
- Resident Evil 6 Avatar DLC code for 360 owners OR a Resident Evil 6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners
- Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size)
- ‘The Resident Evil 6 forces emblems’ – High quality enamelled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi , Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Resident Evil 6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki. A must have piece for any fan of Resident Evil.
- All of the above amazing goodies are bundled together in the lenticular ‘Needle Bomb’ collectors box
Man, I'd take the sweatshirt any day. Then again, I do live in a tropical country so that's a bad idea.
Resident Evil 6 Anthology and Archives
There is also a Resident Evil Anthology spotted in the wild. Amazon is again advertising products not officially announced by the company providing them. For the PS3 version of the bundle, it will include: Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil: Director's Cut, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition and Resident 4 HD.
Since Xbox doesn't have the first three games, the Xbox 360 version will include: Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Resident Evil 4 HD, Code Veronica HD, and a copy of CGI film Resident Evil Degeneration.
So what's better the Collector's Edition or the Resident Evil Archives? I'd go for the Archives, if it ever gets officially announced. Archives will go for 89.99 and that's a lot of Resident Evil games for that price, not to mention you get the new one too. The Collector's Edition has yet to be priced.

Weekend, what are you playing?
Ok wow, one more week and its the end of June? This month definitely went by so fast. Third weekend of June and I'm finally playing something different now. How about you? What games have you spent your free time on?
Quash: Funny story - I once bought Diablo 3 and when the Real Money Auction House came out, I was able earn enough money selling gear to get back the money I spent on the game. And just like any crazy gamer, I bought yet another game that I wasn't planning to get anytime soon.
Dragon's Dogma took most of my free time this weekend and its great. Its like Shadow of Colossus meets Skyrim in such a good way. I'm 15 hours in so far and its fun exploring the world getting ambushed by Cyclops hiding behind rocks. My only problems at the moment is that I get these weird frame rate drops that comes and goes. Got me thinking, is my 4-year old having a hard time now, or is it just the game? I researched about Dragon's Dogma having Frame rate issues and it isn't common at all. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse as I progress through this game.
Migoy: I unlocked all the characters in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit which ain't all that much but Z-Chronicles is just so boring that every single fight felt so tedious. Finally got to play Battlefield 3 with my friends and even though I am completely n00b it was good fun. Took me forever to learn that the 1-hit kill with the knife is done by HOLDING R2. The whole time I thought just slashing them once was enough ala CoD style. I forget that there are destructible environments in BF3 and sometimes get bewildered when the wall I'm hiding behind just crumbles away exposing me to all the raining bullets that followed.
Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut releases on June 26
SPOILER ALERT! - Will contant spoilers to Mass Effect 3's ending, you've been warned. Just a friendly reminder for all those people who raged so hard when they saw the ending of Mass Effect 3, the Extended Cut DLC that pretty much adds additional cut scenes and cinematic sequences to the ending of the game will be released on June 26 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC at no additional cost. If you still care about getting more closure in Mass Effect 3, then I suggest you prepare your save game for next week.
You complained and they actually listened. The additional cut scenes and sequences will give you a bit more closure at the same time show the impact of the choices you made in the game.
Below is an interview with producer Casey Hudson, and lead writer Mac Walters as they discussing the additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes.
I was perfectly fine with Mass Effect 3's ending. I had a lot of questions but I like the fact that we don't have a clear picture on the state after the reaper invasion, if Shepard survived, and what happened to the races and Shepard's crew. It made my mind wander of the possibilities on the state of the universe. I have a huge feeling though that the Extended Cut might still not be enough to satisfy the fans, they always want more.
To get the Extended Cut, Bioware suggests you load your file right before you infiltrate the Cerberus base. I'll be revisiting my Mass Effect 3 save file in preparation for this Extended Cut DLC, because I have no idea if I even have a save before the Cerberus base.
