PS Plus members get free Starhawk single player campaign and new discounts on next update

This week, the PSN Store is getting updated with new content for PS Plus members. If you haven't played Starhawk, now here's your chance. PS Plus members can download and play the singplayer campaign of Starhawk for free. Not only that, members get all of the game's DLC that has been released so far, free of charge. This, and the usual game discounts that come with the membership. Have you heard of a game called Tokyo Jungle?

Discounts coming to PS members on this update are for two very unusual games. Tokyo Jungle and Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit priced at $14.99 each will cost PS members $11.99 insteast thanks to the 20% discount.

Oh and just in case why I called the two discounted games "unusual", have a look at their trailers below. Unusual is not bad, it's actually refreshing at times.

Tokyo Jungle

I might buy Tokyo Jungle with an even lower priced. Just because I can actually play as a deer and hunt as a Pomeranian dog. What will Japanese developers create next?

The Walking Dead Game Season 1 releasing on December 4

The Walking Dead Game Telltale Games just announced that season 1 of The Walking Dead Game will be released as a full game on December 4 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. This means that season 1 will be definitely wrap up before December 4 hits.

The announcement was made on Telltale Games official Twitter account  revealing that the entire season will be released on disc.

Now, if you have not played any of the episodes, I highly suggest you do. I've played the first and second episodes of the first season and it's one of the most well-crafted stories in a video game this year. You will care for these bunch of characters trying to survive, and at the end of each episode, you just can't wait to play the next one, just like any good series.

The third episode is now out on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The last two episodes, "Around Every Corner", and "No Time Left", has no release date at the moment, but thanks to this bit of news, at least we know this season will wrap up this year.

Project x Zone

Project x Zone I am a huge sucker for crossovers. Put in two or more of my favorite characters/shows/games together and usually I'm on it in a heartbeat even though it might be one of the worst thing man has ever created. Crossovers are one of my guilty pleasures.

Project x Zone is a crossover tactics game by Capcom, SEGA, Namco Bandai and Banpresto. From the looks of things the combat looks very similar to one of my favorite DS games which is Super Robot Wars OG Saga wherein attacks are done via simple buttons inputs but the fun is that attacks puts enemies into a juggle state and you have to time your buttons inputs to keep the combo going.

Aside from the awesome addicting combat, the roster of video game and anime characters here is ridiculous. I'd try to name them all but this is something that you just have to see. The sad truth about this game is that most likely due to licensing issues, this game will never be released outside of Japan. But how could anyone not want this game? I mean just look at Ryu and Ken's attacks at around the 6:30 mark.

There has been a rumor that Namco Bandai is considering to localize this in English depending on how well it performs in Japan. There's still hope!

The release date was announced on Playstation's official blog, which also mentioned that the game will also be available on the PSN Store on February 5.

If you're eager to test out the latest installment in the Sly Cooper series, you earn early access to the Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time demo if you get yourself a copy of the Ratchet and Clank collection.

Dragon's Dogma expansion announced by Capcom

Capcom just announced a "Major Expansion" to their new open-world RPG. Not much information about this "Major Expansion", but all that was revealed so far is that it will arrive next year for Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. That, and the ability to carry your save file to the expansion. A teaser trailer was also released together with the announcement. Have a look after the jump.

The fact that they are not calling it DLC means this would come out more than a 3 hour added content. That's my guess at this point considering it called a "Major Expansion".

The news does not stop there, Capcom also announced adding two new modes to the original game as free DLC. It will include a speedrun mode that challenges players to finish specific parts of the game in a given time, and Hard mode that, well... makes the game harder.

Looks like Capcom has a lot planned for their new IP. So if I were you, keep your copy of Dragon's Dogma in a safe place for now.
