PS3 exclusive Far Cry 3 DLC out next week, adds two co-op chapters
The first DLC for Far Cry 3 will be releasing exclusively on Playstation 3 next week. If you enjoyed the game's co-op, then you'd get a kick out of this free exclusive DLC because this adds two more chapters to that mode.
The two added chapters, called Jailbreak and Redepmtion, and continues were the original six chapters left off.
"We've got new missions, tougher fights, bigger competitions, some great up-close time with your favourite characters, and explosive moments unlike anything you've seen before."
High Tides will be out on January 15. The DLC will be included on the Playstation Store during its regular content update that usually happens around Tuesday.
No word yet if High Tides will hit Xbox 360 or PC. This isn't the first time Ubisoft has given Sony exclusive content for their games. For Assassin's Creed 3, the PS3 version was given an hour worth of exclusive content for PS3 owners.

Recent Buys: Episode 17 - PSP Bag and Dual Shocks
The Christmas season has just passed and I got my hands on a bit of Christmas cash. Though not exactly the best haul, these items serve their purpose.
I finally man-ed up and bought a pair of brand new PS2 controllers. The CD-RKing controllers still work fine but nothing beats the real thing. Instead of going for the generic black or solid colored controllers, plus my fetish for clear plastic, I chose to get them in clear colored plastic under the names "Emerald" and "Lemon Yellow".
While I was lugging my PS2 controllers around the store, I also saw that they had a PSP bag on sale. Having some extra cash on hand and with the bag not going for much, I just grabbed it's box and went to the cashier. I got the bag and both controllers in ToyKingdom, Vmall.
Before my little ToyKingdom escapade, I got another item while I was in Tacloban, Leyte for the holidays. A funny little gaming shirt I saw in the mall. I posted it on our Facebook page not too long ago but here it is again in case you missed it.
In this video, I'm testing out my new PS2 controllers as well as doing a test recording of my PS2 using my AverMedia HD PVR.

Amazing trailer for The Walking Dead: Survival instinct
You got to love Activision, they sure know how to make a release date trailer. With a game based on the popular The Walking Dead TV series, I guess they don't need to show any gameplay footage at all for their release date trailer.
The release is quite close and the only thing going for this game is the fact that it's a Walking Dead game. There's not much footage of the game still, and the latest trailer still doesn't want to give us an idea of what were getting into, or what sets it apart from the rest.
March 26 is the release date for Daryl and Merl's very own video game that tells their story before the events in the tv series. The game is confirmed to be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
Since this trailer doesn't show much, here's a video that does, which also expains a bit more about the game. Thanks HDDreew for covering this.
Weekend! What are you playing?
It's the weekend again! Everybody loves Fridays, some go out and have a great night out, while some like to kick back pop in a game and relax. I'm sure most of you are still trying to knock off a few titles to lessen your backlog pile. Me? I'll keep my backlog big for now, because I again see myself revisiting a game that came out in 2011. The arrow in the knee pic above pretty much sums up what I'm playing this weekend. What are you playing?
Carlos: SKYRIMMM! Yea... I decided to continue my ranger that I started last Tuesday. When I first played the game back when it was released, I took a risk and got the 360 version. I enjoyed my time in Skyrim with a controller, regardless of the horrible loading times, graphic lags, and mammoths falling from the sky. This time though, I want to play the game right, so I'm going to be playing the PC version which is a first for me. I might also play a few League of Legends games if my friends bother me enough via Skype.
Migoy: Been busy with some stuff lately so I don't know if I'm gonna be able to play anything this weekend but I do need to get on that Anarchy Reigns playthrough. Aside from that I also want to play more Persona 4 Arena ranked matches just for kicks. I also just found out last night that you can play with up to 3 other people locally in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. I always thought that the multiplayer aspect was online only. I won't do a video of it now but it does give me an idea of what I can do with it in the future.
CD Projekt Red's next project, Cyberpunk 2077, gets a trailer
Makers of the amazing Witcher series released a teaser for their new game, Cyberpunk 2077, which is based on the popular pen-and-paper RPG, Cyberpunk 2020. Check out the teaser below.
The "when its ready" message shows that CD Projekt Red wants to get this game right. The creator of Cyberpunk 2020, Mike Pondsmith will be working side by side with the dev team to really translate the world he built. With gameplay, it's still a mystery, but the team did mention that the game will be a sandbox RPG with a combat system very similar to the pen-and-paper version.
Can't wait to see more about Cyberpunk 2077. It's a great setting and hopefully we see more of it in the coming months. Don't hold your breathe, because I have a feeling this game will take a couple of years until it gets released.
If you want to find out more, you can check out their official site.
