As promised, Dontnod Entertainment has finally revealed the stars of Life is Strange 2, via a trailer that dropped today. Sean and Daniel Diaz are two brothers are on the run from authorities following a “tragic event,” and seek refuge in Puerto Lobos, Mexico.
A mysterious new power will feature heavily once more in Life is Strange 2, which was teased at in a destructive teaser released earlier this month, though has not yet been revealed by Dontnod. This is in keeping with its predecessor, in which heroine Max Caulfield possessed the ability to rewind time.
The game will focus heavily on the bonds of brotherhood. According to Dontnod, players will “need to make the kind of tough choices you can expect from a Life is Strange game, and you will need to live with the consequences of your actions.”
The first episode of Life is Strange 2 drops onto Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 on September 27th. While you wait, you can play The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a free companion game that Dontnod promised offers hints about Life is Strange 2.
Final Fantasy Resonance launches on October 22, with physical copies coming to Southeast Asia for PS5 and Switch 2 alongside Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
