Coronavirus Delays Switch Port Of The Outer Worlds
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak in China, Virtuos, the studio handling the port version of The Outer Worlds, has their China offices closed for the time being to implement a mandatory quarantine to protect their employees.

Their studios are located in X’ian and Chengdu and publisher Private Division confirms that “the team at Virtuos is ok” via Twitter and will need more time to compete the port.
To clarify, the team at Virtuos is ok, but their office has remained closed during this time. We're working with the team to determine an updated development timeline, and will share more regarding a new launch date shortly.

The port of The Outer Worlds was originally planned for a March 6, 2020 release and will also launch with a physical copy of the game.
