Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Announced During PlayStation's State Of Play
Square Enix announced a new DLC episode called Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which features Yuffie Kisaragi in a separate adventure through Midgar.

[Update 02/26/2021: on a press release provided by Square Enix, both the PS4 physical and digital versions of Final Fantasy VII Remake can get the PS5 upgrade for free.]
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to go out on July 10, 2021.
Based on the trailer, the events of Intergrade occurs in-between Remake’s story, likely after the Airbuster encounter. In this episode, you "play as ninja Yuffie Kisaragi as she infiltrates the shadowy Shinra Corporation to steal a powerful materia and restore glory to her homeland," according to the details provided by Square Enix.
Additionally, Square announced a PS5 upgrade to Final Fantasy VII Remake that will feature enhanced visual upgrades, 60 FPS, higher resolutions, quality of life improvements, and more. The upgrade will also be available on July 10, 2021 and those that own either a physical and digital PS4 copy of the game will get a free upgrade when it launches.
The DLC episode featuring Yuffie will be available for purchase on the PS5 once you’ve upgraded or own the PS5 version of the game, marking it an exclusive for the system. No price for the DLC was given.
Until Dawn 2 was revealed at Sony's June 2026 State of Play. Developed by Firesprite, the PS5 sequel follows a new cast of ghost hunters on a tropical island, launching in 2027.
