Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Final Update Adds Legendary Elder Dragon Fatalis
Capcom announced that the final update to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne which includes the legendary elder dragon Fatalis will launch on October 1, 2020 at 8 AM GMT +8 / September 30, 8 PM ET for PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
Fatalis was first introduced as one of the big bad monsters you get to face in the first Monster Hunter game back in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. We soon found Fatalis reintroduced in other entries in the series later on but makes a return yet again in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne looking intimidating as ever and is rather fitting to have Fatalis as the final post-content add-on to end the series of free updates for Iceborne.
This isn’t the only addition as the final update also adds the Arch-tempered Velhana as a linted-time quest, a new Clutch Claw Boost skill, additional layer armoured pendants, and guild improvements.
Iceborne devs also noted in their latest developer diary that Iceborne players can look forward to the Fun Fright Fest coming to the gathering hub on October 16, a season event that will include seasonal quests that reward players with a Dracula-inspired hunter armor, a Frankenstein-themed Palico outfit, and more.
Monster Hunter Iceborne is the first and only expansion for Monster Hunter World and was first released on the PS4 and Xbox One in 2019. The PC version was released in early 2020 and is now in caught up in the series of free post-content released
Until Dawn 2 was revealed at Sony's June 2026 State of Play. Developed by Firesprite, the PS5 sequel follows a new cast of ghost hunters on a tropical island, launching in 2027.
