Mortal Kombat 11's Aftermath Expansion Continues The Story And Adds New Characters Like RoboCop
It looks like publisher Warner Bros. Interactive and developer NetherRealms Studios isn’t done with Mortal Kombat 11 as a new expansion called Aftermath was announced. It continues the game’s current storyline and adds three characters to it’s roster.
With it being another cinematic story presented in NetherRealms style, the expansion is priced at $39.99. The three characters being added to Mortal Kombat 11 is newcomer Fujin, Sheeva, and RoboCop. Yes, that cop.
Mortal Kombat 11 will also be given a free update once the expansion goes live. The update adds the “Klassic Dead Pool” and “Soul Chamber” stages, new stage fatalities, and brings back the classic Friendship feature.
For those that does not own Mortal Kombat 11, Mortal Kombat: Aftermath Kollection will be available for $59.99 and it includes the base game, the “Kombat Pack” DLC (six post-launch characters), and the Aftermath expansion.
The collection and the Aftermath expansion will be available digitally at launch on May 26, 2020, but for those that prefer a physical copy, those in the US might have to wait longer as they expect a June release. No word when physical copies of the game will hit Asia or Europe.
