Next-gen version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Set for a January 2023 release
Bandai Namco announced that the next-gen version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be released on January 13, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
This next-gen version of the game will feature Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot running on 60 frames per second with visual improvements which was seen in the trailer below. Those who own the PS4 or Xbox One copy of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot can get the next-gen upgrade for free.
The next-gen version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will have three editions to choose from.
Standard Edition – This includes the base Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game.
Deluxe Edition (digital-only; not available for pre-order) – This includes the base Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game, a Deluxe Cooking item, and Season Pass 1 (two original story episodes and one new story arc).
Legendary Edition (digital-only; not available for pre-order) – This includes the base Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game, a Deluxe Cooking item, a Legendary Cooking item, Season Pass 1, and Season Pass 2 (three new story arcs, including the upcoming downloadable content “Bardock – Alone Against Fate“).
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through Steam.
Arc System Works nailed Tokon and showed once again why they are one of the best in the genre. While it’s too soon to know if this game will perfectly fill the tag team Marvel void in the fighting game community, it launched with a respectable package perfect for everyone.
