Nintendo, Xbox, And More Will Be Joining The E3 2021 Online Lineup
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced that E3 2021 is happening this year as an online-only virtual event that will be available for free and big names are joining the show such as Nintendo, Xbox, and more.
ESA confirms that the online event this year will also feature Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, and Koch Media. The event is scheduled to take place on June 12 through June 15.
This year is going online for obvious reasons and details about the event are slim at the moment. But expect news and big announcements from the companies mentioned above.
“For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA.”
“We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.”
As Gameindustry.biz pointed out, there are a few big names missing in their lineup such as Sony, EA, Activision Blizzard, Sega, Bandai Namco, and Square Enix.
