Persona 6 Announced During Xbox Games Showcase, Coming Day 1 on Game Pass
One of the big reveals during the Xbox Games Showcase is Atlus' announcement of Persona 6, which is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The upcoming JRPG will also be on Game Pass on day one.
The teaser for Persona 6 points at being horror-themed, as we see a graveyard full of headstones that eventually reveal the game's logo. The color shown is significant, as each mainline title has a specific color theme: Persona 5 being red, Persona 4 with yellow, Persona 3 with blue, and now Persona 6 with green.
Beyond this, there's not much to go by. No release date was given, but with the success of Persona 5, another entry was a no-brainer.
It's interesting to see Xbox continue to build a strong partnership with Japanese studios, particularly with Sega and Atlus. The timing is also notable, as Persona 5 Royal is returning to Game Pass on June 9, making it a great entry point for anyone looking to catch up before Persona 6 arrives.
