Resident Evil Re: Verse Won't Launch Together With Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil Re Verse, the free multiplayer game that comes together with each copy of Resident Evil Village, doesn’t seem like it will be available during Village’s release day.
According to a thread made in Resetera, Capcom sent an email to Resident Evil Ambassadors Resident Evil Re: Verse confirming that the multiplayer game will be available sometime in Summer. The official site for Re: Verse now also shows a Summer 2021 release window.
Think Resident Evil Re: Verse as the multiplayer offering in Village, similar to how the Resident Evil 3 came with Resident Evil Resistance. Completely separate titles, but a good bonus for players that purchase Village.
Resident Evil Re Verse recently had an open beta at the start of April and that was the last we heard from Capcom publicly on the multiplayer game. Those hoping to play the game, you’ll have to wait a bit longer, but at least Resident Evil Village, should keep you busy until more details come to light.
Resident Evil Village is the next big entry in the franchise and will be out on May 7, 2021 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Until Dawn 2 was revealed at Sony's June 2026 State of Play. Developed by Firesprite, the PS5 sequel follows a new cast of ghost hunters on a tropical island, launching in 2027.
