Saber Interactive Teases Army of Darkness Map for Evil Dead: The Game
Saber Interactive’s isometric horror game Evil Dead: The Game will be getting a new free map called the Castle Kandar, themed under The Army of Darkness, the second Evil Dead film where Ash accidentally teleports to the middle ages.
It’s a small tease but it’s good to see a free map is coming to Evil Dead: The Game to spice up the rotation. No other details were provided but expect more from the developers soon.
Saber Interactive updated the game recently by adding more anti-cheat measures, the option to report players in-game for all platforms, and have applied fixes to for certain crash and infinite loading issues.
Despite my disconnection issues with the game, I find Evil Dead: The Game as a solid entry to asymmetrical horror game space, where a group of players team up to face one player, in this case, a Kandarian Demon.
Arc System Works nailed Tokon and showed once again why they are one of the best in the genre. While it’s too soon to know if this game will perfectly fill the tag team Marvel void in the fighting game community, it launched with a respectable package perfect for everyone.
