Tales Of Arise Delayed Indefinitely

The latest entry in the Tales Of series, Tales of Arise, have been delayed with no release date or even a release window in sight. This is mostly due to the novel coronavirus currently affecting the game’s development.

Tales of Arise producer Yusuke Tomizawa released an official statement regarding the delay and mentioned that due to the ongoing pandemic that is currently gripping the world they’ve implemented “remote development capabilities” for the team.

But this adjustment requires more time to “achieve the quality and provide the gorgeous experience we envision for our players, says Tomizawa. This delay makes Tales of Arise at the very least a 2021 game as they were aiming for a 2020 release.

Tales of Arise currently has a long gap between previous Tales games simply because Arise is using Unreal Engine 4, which is new to the franchise. The last game was Tales of Beseria back in 2016 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
