Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are coming out for the Nintendo Switch this Friday and The Pokemon Company together with Rumble Royale will be hosting a launch event for the game in the Philippines from November 15 - 17, 2019 at the Robinsons Magnolia Activity Center in Quezon City.
A variety of activities are planned for those looking to show up and check out the launch event during the weekend. Attendees are said to be given the chance to try out both Pokemon Sword and Shield at the event floor, buy Pokemon merchandise, and best of all - enjoy the company of Pikachu and Eevee mascots who are said to have a dance parade at 8 PM on Friday. Is there going to be more of the Pikachu and Eevee dance parade performance after the 15th? No official word but we will update you once we get more details.
Rumble Royale local talents such as Gloco, Akosidogie, Suzzysaur, Riku, and more are said to be present at the event on November 15 at 5 PM onwards. The launch event will be available all weekend from 11 AM to 10 PM, the usual mall hours for Robinsons Magnolia.
UPDATE (as of November 13, 2019, 3:47 PM): we’ve been told by the event organizers that three Pikachu and Eevee mascots will be at the launch event and will be part of the dance performance and parade which will take place at the start and end of the event.
Rumble Royale talents will also participate in two tournaments on Friday - one for Pokemon Go and one for Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Ghost of Yotei: Complete Edition bundles the base game with Echoes of Sekigahara, Most Wanted, and Legends co-op. While the main campaign drags, Most Wanted delivers an excellent roguelite combat experience, especially with Jin Sakai.
The amount of effort seen here gives me hope for Capcom’s future attempts at reviving classic titles, as Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the latest title of the once dormant classic franchise, comes back in the best way possible as it very well might be my game of the year contender.
StarFox brings the beloved N64 classic back on Nintendo Switch 2 with smoother 60fps gameplay, improved controls, new challenges, co-op, and a surprisingly excellent multiplayer mode.
After more than 40 hours with Control: Resonant, my full review looks at Remedy's strange open-world adventure, its story, combat, exploration, and spectacular final act that it’s easy to consider this my favorite title from Remedy Entertainment.
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition brings FromSoftware's masterpiece to Nintendo Switch 2 with new classes, fast loading and surprisingly solid performance, but some graphical compromises and its $79.99 price give the port a few caveats.
Marvel’s Wolverine is a solid video game, and I enjoyed my time with it, but I left wanting more from both the game and the character. It succeeds at making you feel like Wolverine, even if the game surrounding that fantasy isn't always as compelling.
Arc System Works nailed Tokon and showed once again why they are one of the best in the genre. While it’s too soon to know if this game will perfectly fill the tag team Marvel void in the fighting game community, it launched with a respectable package perfect for everyone.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a faithful, gorgeous remake that nails everything above water, even if its stale combat proves the series still hasn't solved its oldest problem.
Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred delivers the best version of the game yet, with a satisfying story conclusion, deep endgame systems, and two new classes that breathe fresh life into an already strong foundation.
Forza Horizon 6 brings the festival to Japan, and after 30+ hours behind the wheel, it's one of the best open world racing games out today.
I really cannot recommend Pragmata enough. Capcom has once again outdone themselves by delivering an exceptionally-polished brand new IP with lovable characters and a wholly unique take on dual-character combat, pairing excellent enemy and level designs with heavily customizable loadouts for an intense and addictive experience.
Our The Blood of the Dawnwalker review explores Rebel Wolves’ dark fantasy RPG, its 30-day time limit, the day and night cycle curveball, excellent side quests, and shortcomings.
