Reports are coming in that Gazillion Entertainment employees have been laid off and is shutting down operations on Marvel Heroes sooner than later.  

Thronebreaker was originally set to arrive before the end of this year, but in a post on the official Gwent website, CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwiński said an increased scope for the campaign meant that they would need more time to work on it.

It's a positive turn of events, but concerns remain, especially when EA and DICE are confidently declaring that microtransactions will return "at a later date."
