It was a solid start for developer Yager’s high-risk shooter The Cycle: Frontier, but after three seasons, and the constant dwindling of its player base, they have made the announcement to shut down the game for good on September 27, 2023. The game is over a year old.

This week, Dead by Daylight is still celebrating its 7th anniversary and one of the ways they are doing that is a daily reset of Shrine of Secrets, which has been going on since last week. We’ll be updating each daily offer here and will also lay down what perks will be on offer once the offer ends, but for now here are the perk offers from June 28 - July 4, 2023.

The long-running MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is getting a fourth expansion this August and it’s called Secrets of the Obscured, an expansion that’s changing things up with the inclusion of Buildcrafters, new legendary armor sets, a new mount mastery, and delving into one of Tyria’s biggest mysteries.

Blizzard released a 1.0.3 patch for Diablo IV which featured a series of major bugfixes and class buffs that hopefully makes other builds for classes more appealing. The most notable change to the game here is the increased experience gains in Nightmare Dungeons and you’ll now teleport to that specific dungeon once you activate its sigil.

You can now Pre-orders for Sega and Atlus’ upcoming tactical RPG Persona 5 Tactica. Doing so will earn you a series of goodies for ordering the game as early as now. Sega is also celebrating preorders going live with a Switch giveaway for those in Asia.

Diablo IV’s first season is fast approaching and it looks like new players to the series and ARPG as a whole is just now realizing that they will have to create a new character to play season 1’s content and progress through its battle pass.

Steam’s Next Fest, a week-long celebration of upcoming games featuring hundreds of playable demos, will feature a new demo for the upcoming story-driven game The Invincible as it takes later in the campaign where you get to explore the planet Regis III with a land vehicle.

During Blizzard’s first Diablo IV Campfire Chat livestream after launch, the developers addressed a few issues the community has brought up. One of the topics they discussed is Nightmare Dungeons as they are soon planning to improve it by improving the experience gained through these activities.

While it does look like it’s a perfect game for those that enjoy high-fantasy adventures similar to Elder Scrolls, not many know that Avowed is set in the same universe of another famous title by Obsidian, Pillars of Eternity. So, does a player need to play the Pillers series before diving into this one?

During the Capcom Games Showcase, we get a little bit more information about Dragon’s Dogma 2. It isn’t much, but it’s enough to excite fans of the series as it seems like Capcom is simply sticking to the game’s strengths and simply improving with what they’ve already established.

Blizzard announced that their upcoming story missions going live in Season 6 will be paywalled as you’ll need to buy a $15 bundle to get access to these new missions. They also detailed the new game modes coming to the game in season 6 such as a new co-op mode and a PvP mode called Flashpoint.
