The classic JRPG Legend of Dragoon made its debut on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms this month, but it isn’t a smooth return for the beloved PS1 title as there’s a series of glitches and bugs with one that can soft lock the game. 

During Sony’s first State of Play of 2023, developer Airship Syndicate announced that they will host a closed beta test for their online action RPG game called Wayfinder on PS5 and PC. Registrations are now open for those interested. 

Sony Interactive Entertainment reserved a good portion of February 2023’s State of play showcase for Rocksteady Studio’s upcoming looter shooter Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, showing new gameplay and confirming that the game will be supported long after the game has launched and will feature a battle pass filled with only in-game cosmetic rewards. 

The online shooter Hunt: Showdown is celebrating its fifth year since its release with a series of Twitch drops giving players cosmetic items for the game if they watch a select Twitch stream for a certain amount of time.

Hello Games is still at it at updating their space simulator No Man’s Sky as their latest big update called Fractal is now live. The 4.1 update mainly improves the virtual reality experience but also has new additions like the Utopia Speeder Starship, a new Expedition, and more. Together with this update comes the PlayStation VR 2 support as the peripheral is now available worldwide.

Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets this week is a little weird. For only a day, the Shrine offered For the People, Repressed Alliance, Forced Penance, Hex: Huntress Lullaby. But it looks like this week was supposed to be community picked as you can now purchase Flashbang, Lethal Pursuer, Merciless Storm, and Reassurance, perks under licensed characters. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that their next State of Play showcase happening on February 23 will focus on PS VR2 and third-party releases. The spin-off Yazuka game remake called Like a Dragon Ishin! now features Trooper Cards in the game’s main combat.
