Blizzard Entertainment announced during their latest developer stream that Diablo IV’s first season is called Season of the Malignant and it’s set to go live on July 20. During the show, they detailed what to expect from the season which is expected to last roughly 12 weeks.

Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have just updated their action rhythm game Hi-Fi Rush with the free Arcade Challenge update, giving all players that own the game two new challenging game modes, new enemies, new special attacks, and new unlockable rewards.

The battle royale melee-focused online game Naraka: Bladepoint is going free-to-play alongside its official PS5 release on July 13. Existing players will have their accounts intact and be rewarded Gold for owning the game before it went free-to-play. The game is also releasing on the PS5 at the same time.

The 7.1.0 Player Test Build for Dead by Daylight is now live and includes the new Survivor Nicolas Cage himself plus a variety of perk changes as well as major changes to The Onryo Killer. Here are the unique perks the new Survivor will bring to the game.

The first DLC character for Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is non other than the Turbulent Wind Rashid as he will be added to the game on July 24. Players that own the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the Year 1 Character Pass will have Rashid unlocked the moment he goes live.

Sega debuted a new trailer for the upcoming remake Persona 3 Reload during Anime Expo 2023 which occurred in Los Angeles. The trailer is rather short but gives us a good look at the new character art for Akihiko Sanada, Mitsuru Kirijo, and Fuuka Yamagishi.

Bandai Namco announced Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, a two versus two action game and the first console game based on the popular anime/manga series. It’s set to come out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Developer Triternion announced that their 64-player online multiplayer medieval game Mordhau is going to consoles on July 12 and will feature crossplay between Xbox and PlayStation players.

Blizzard released a 1.0.3 patch for Diablo IV which featured a series of major bugfixes and class buffs that hopefully makes other builds for classes more appealing. The most notable change to the game here is the increased experience gains in Nightmare Dungeons and you’ll now teleport to that specific dungeon once you activate its sigil.

You can now Pre-orders for Sega and Atlus’ upcoming tactical RPG Persona 5 Tactica. Doing so will earn you a series of goodies for ordering the game as early as now. Sega is also celebrating preorders going live with a Switch giveaway for those in Asia.

Diablo IV’s first season is fast approaching and it looks like new players to the series and ARPG as a whole is just now realizing that they will have to create a new character to play season 1’s content and progress through its battle pass.
