This week we played a lot of the team based shooters now out. Carlos and Will goes all out with Overwatch, Will gives his final thoughts on Battleborn, and Miggy checks out Geekgikan 2016. E3 2016 talk, Ibuki reveal, and No Many Sky being pushed to an August release.

Having spent a good amount of time playing Battleborn’s single-player and multiplayer offerings, I can say this with certainty: Battleborn is NOT Overwatch. I feel it’s important to point this out right away, because comparisons between the two are being made far too often. In reality, while both happen to be first-person shooters with a diverse cast of characters, that’s pretty much where the similarities end.

Naughty Dog have continuously raised the bar in the action adventure genre, and with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, they've once again thrown down the gauntlet. Saying this is an amazing game isn’t enough to describe what the developers have done. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is probably one of the best products to come out of this industry.

Who would have thought that the Xeno series, which began life as the beloved Xenogears on the PSX, would take so many forms throughout the years? Director Tetsuya Takahashi went on to create the developer Monolith Soft and the operatic Xenosaga trilogy for PS2, which he deemed a 'spiritual prequel' to Xenogears, before moving on to the highly acclaimed Wii JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles.
