Mortal Kombat: Legacy - Ep. 9: Cyrax & Sektor
After what seemed like forever, we finally get a new episode of Mortal Kombat Legacy shown at this year's San Diego Comic Con. The Cyborg ninja's make an apperance in the reimagining of the Mortal Kombat Universe.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy brings to life the complex and rich history of the gaming world of MORTAL KOMBAT. Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung are obsessed with reigning over various realms (parallel universes) and the winners of Mortal Kombat competitions are granted supreme control over these worlds. The Earthrealm (Earth) is an unconscious participant in this competition and only a few select humans understand the consequences of losing Mortal Kombat and what it will mean to Earth. In a universe with powerful evil sorcerers, cyborgs, Gods and movie stars, this Mortal Kombat digital media series drives a cohesive understanding of what this Universe is all about.
Episode 9 Synopsis "Cyrax and Sektor" Cyrax and Sektor are chosen to be the future of the Lin Kuei by the Grand Master, but Cyrax is less than enthusiastic about giving his life over to a cybernetic transformation that will erase his memories and turn him into the ultimate fighting machine. When he discovers that the cyborg he is fighting seems closely familiar, Sektor must keep Cyrax focused on destroying Hydro, and not himself or their future...

Weekend, what are you playing?
What are you playing this weekend?
Migoy: I finally completed all the missions in Gundam Memories. Aside from that I've been tackling some random PS2 titles. You can probably catch me live on the feed at our Jusin.tv channel.
Quash: Still playing Xenogears this weekend. Currently on 21 hours game time with Fei at level 33. Just got Elly and Rico and is heading to the Goliath factory.
Also been playing Starcraft 2 with some buddies doing 3v3 ladder. The difference of 1v1 to 2v2 and 3v3 are huge, it was hard to get used to, and most of my build orders need adjustment since there are like 2 to 3 armies to worry about. In 1v1, i'm currently going back and forth from rank 1 to rank 2 in my platinum league, and i can't seem to bump up to Diamond League.
Arlie: I am playing NieR this weekend. I was able to finish my first playthrough in less than 15 hours to get the trophy. I really liked the story a lot. There's still 3 more endings I need to unlock to complete it.

Rumor: Resident Evil 6 to be announced on TGS
Capcom is planning to move forward in the Resident Evil series by revealing Resident Evil 6 at the Tokyo Game Show this September. No official word yet, but thanks to one individual who attended a behind-closed-doors meeting at Comic-Con this week took a shot of the possible logo for the next Resident Evil.
The image above was posted on the Hell Descent forums. He went in, was instructed that taking pictures are not allowed, but he took one anyway. No real information of the game was given, they only announced that updates will be revealed on September 15(the date on the image), which is the first day of TGS 2011.
I heard though that Capcom plans to head back to their survivor-horror roots for the next Resident Evil, which is great since the franchise is getting ridiculous already. I want the old Resident Evil game similar to the first and second, always struggling to survive, and a quick scare every now and then. Please no more super-human Weskers, and crazy village people that replaced zombies. Bring back the zombies!!
