Goldeneye 007: Reloaded - Launch Trailer
Remember the classic Golden Eye 007 game back in the N64? Well Activision revived that title and released it on the Wii last year. With the success of Wii version, they remastered the game yet again with Goldeneye 007: Reloaded. The same game but with improved graphics for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Why didn't they do this in the first place? beats me. Here's the launch trailer.
Being an exclusive title doesn't mean anything nowadays in the gaming industry. One year, a famous game is only exclusive to a specific console, then next year all of a sudden they decide to make it multi-platform. With this classic FPS sitting in between Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, at the same time with Uncharted 3 coming out the same day, I don't see it doing well in the next few weeks. Goldeneye 007: Reloaded will be out on November 1 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Your guns level up too!
A new video was just released and explains another way you can customize and progress in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Not only do you level up yourself, you will now also worry about leveling your guns. Their also introducing a new feature called Weapon Proficiencies, which gives you another way to customize your weapon of choice.
Each weapon in the game needs to be leveled up. This is now the new way to unlock gun attachments, reticles and the new feature called Weapon Proficiencies. Weapon Proficiencies give you that extra edge and improve how you perform with that gun. Reduced kick? yes please! While it sounds awesome and all, I wonder how it will play with the balancing of the game?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out on November 8 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
DC Universe Online going free to play very very soon
Sony Entertainment Online announced last month that DC Universe Online is going Free to Play for PC and PS3, now they reveal that this will take effect on November 1. If your planning to give DC Universe a chance, this is the perfect time and it's only a week away.
Free players will have access to Metropolis, Gotham, and all raid and alerts. There are restrictions though like inventory space, money limit etc, and must pay to get more space or certain features. If you already spend around $5 on your account, you will be upgraded to a premium account that lessens certain restrictions. Legendary status is pretty much the same old $15 monthly payment that takes out all restrictions. For PS3 players, it's a good thing....sorta. Like myself, I'm stuck with DC Universe Online and cannot sell it. In order for me to make this PS3 title usable, I'll have to cough up 15 bucks. With the Free to Play model, at least it isn't a dead CD in my list of games. Having the option to play the game anytime is better than nothing.
This whole idea of going Free to Play is looking to be every MMO's last resort in order to stay alive. Not certain if DC Universe Online was in a bad state, but going Free to Play is a good indication, especially before announcing this change, they announced reducing servers to only four left.
Battlefield 3 - Death By aTool......a Repair Tool
Battlefield 3 is out and just in time too here in the Philippines. Been at it for a while now with Arlie and it's awesome, I also just found an awesome killing montage that I need to do in-game. Just to humiliated all those snipers thinking their safe. Why need a knife when you have a repair tool?
It's just hilarious. Just like in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the repair tool can kill! It was actually a trophy in the previous game and didn't realize until now that it's still deadly in Battlefield 3. This is the first thing I'll do when I get back on multiplayer since I bet this was taken during the beta, let's see if DICE nerfed this deadly weapon.
Multiplayer is all I've been doing since I got my copy, Single Player and Co-op is not why I bought this game. Hows Battlefield 3 for you guys so far?
Batman: Arkham City Nightwing Trailer
Batman: Arkham City has only been out a week and Warner Bros. is already bringing out DLC's for us to consider. 'Nightwing's Bundle Pack' will be out on November 1 for PSN and Xbox 360.
Nightwing, also known as Dick Grayson, first started out as the first Robin(correct me if I'm wrong) and was trained personally by Batman. Just like Catwoman, this playable character will have his own set of moves and gadgets. He will be playable in all unlocked challenge maps and the bundle will include two more maps(Wayne Manor and Main Hall). The bundle will also include one character skin for the DLC character, the animated series Nightwing.
'Nightwing Bundle Pack' will cost $5.99 or 560 Microsoft Points.
