New Watch Dogs trailer reveals release date
Ubisoft's newest IP, Watch Dogs, now has a released date. Hacking will commence on November 22, 2013 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and most likely the new Xbox Microsoft is planning to reveal this May.Â
Watch Dogs is an open world adventure game that revolves around the players ability to use any electronic device to their advantage. Be it security cameras, people's ATM's, their phones, even fuse boxes, all can be hacked by a press of a button...so they say.
Collector's Edition
The collector's edition for Watch Dog's is the Dedsec Edition which contains the usual amount of loot you'd expect from such package, you know, big figurines and all. The special edition includes:
-A 23cm Aiden Pearce Figurine -Steelbook -DedSec Collector box -Watch_Dogs Artbook: artworks and illustrations that inspired the game -Original soundtrack of the game -Watch_Dogs map of Chicago -Set of 4 collectible cards: discover Watch_Dogs iconic characters through augmented reality -Set of 3 exclusive badges
Of course, with how the Philippines work, there won't be any confirmation at this point if local retail will accept any pre-orders for the Dedsec Edition/ Information will most likely come a month before release, so look out for that.
I'm considering Watch Dogs as the first ever revealed, and possibly released next-gen title from a third-party publisher and developer. The game does look amazing, but the big question is how big of a difference will the version running on current-gen systems like the PS3 is to the version running on the PlayStation 4, the next Xbox, and Wii U?
Asura's Wrath Playthrough
Asura's Wrath, a game that is more anime that it is video game. Seeing is as it's episodic like an anime show, I have decided to release it as such.
Migoy's complete playthrough of Asura's Wrath (minus the DLC) will be up on our youtube channel with each episode being released daily. I will also be sharing each episode on our Facebook page
Lobo joins Injustice: Gods Among Us crew this May 7
NetherRealm's latest fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us gets its first character DLC, and it's going to be Lobo, the  alien bounty hunter/mercenary from space. A new video was released showing Lobo matched up against The Batman himself.
Lobo will be available on May 7, but no word yet on how much it will cost.
I've had the opportunity to play Injustice and learn a few characters, and  I like how it feels. The combo system feels easy to grasp for any level of player, and it's just fun all around even with just the AI. Just the right amount of characters to choose from, and the dynamic iand transitional stages are the true highlight of the game, that and Doomsday's super(you have to see it).
Injustice: Gods Among Us is out now, even the Wii U version should be available.
2K resurfaces XCOM shooter, now called The Bureau: XCOM Declassified
Remember the XCOM shooter revealed way before the XCOM: Enemy Unknown reboot? Well its not dead. With the success of the reboot, I'm assuming the title change was done to avoid any confusion between the two games. A live-action trailer was released to reveal the game's re-title and has given it a release date.
A live-action trailer? yea...not the best way to bring back a title not that well received when it was first revealed to the public. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will be released on August 20 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Polygon reports that the XCOM shooter will be an origins story of some kind that will show how the XCOM organization started, and is set in 1962 when the Cold War is at its peak. What they are trying to achieve with this FPS is to provide a lot of strategy elements into it, much like what we know in an XCOM game.
Will it be any good? Well, I wasn't too happy when it was first revealed, but since we now have a perfect reboot of the original XCOM, checking it out when it comes out in August wouldn't hurt..will it?
