Take A Look At The PlayStation 5 Controller
Move over, DualShock 4 because there’s a new controller in town and it’s called DualSense, the controller for the PlayStation 5 due later this year.
Sony has revealed the official look of the controller for the PS5 and the design is slightly altered with a two-toned color that for me, will take awhile to get used to the changes. But aside from the look, one of key features of the DualSense is the haptic feedback, which is an advanced rumble technology that better emulates what’s happening on the screen through vibrations. The new controller also has adaptive triggers in the L2 and R2 buttons.
The “Share” button has evolved into the “Create” button, giving players the ability to not only share gameplay footage but start creating content. They didn’t go deep into what’s possible with the new button on the PS5 but they did say in their PlayStation blog that they will talk more about the button as we get closer to launch.
DualSense will also come with a built-in microphone, which is neat and unlikely that it will replace the mics you use on your consoles. The pad button found at the middle of the controller makes a return and seems to function the same way it did on the DualShock 4.
