It was a Sifu kind of weekend
Last weekend was all abou Sifu, developer Sloclap’s action Kung fu game that was released back in February 2022. A game that revolves around revenge and that your death isn’t the end as you revive older but hopefully wiser. It’s a game that is better than I expected and is currently up there as one of the best games to come out in 2022.
Back 4 Blood’s first expansion is better than I thought
During the weekend I went deep into understanding the changes Turtle Rock Studios have done to their 4-player co-op shooter Back 4 Blood and there’s a lot to take in, especially with its first expansion Tunnels of Terror now available. Surprisingly enough, the expansion is better than I thought.
The Cycle: Frontier preview - A great introduction to high-stakes shooters
The second Closed Beta for The Cycle: Frontier is currently underway and I've been jumping in, looting, shooting, completing tasks, stocking up my storage with valuable loot and weapons. After 10 hours of playtime I see the appeal of high-stakes online shooters as this game is a great introduction to this concept.

In this State of Play that lasted roughly around 30-minutes, I was solely convinced Gran Turismo 7 is more of a celebration of car culture than a game that would blow your mind with it’s realistic gameplay and visuals.
