Just Cause 4 feels like you're living in and advancing the plot of a B–movie, and that's amazing. Wherever Rico goes, there's bound to be action, excitement, and more importantly, explosions.

I updated my Guild Wars 2 client and tripped into the rabbit hole once again, going through the Path of Fire expansion one more time and loving it.

All-in-all this was a good year for Warframe, with a string of major patches that brought in much needed fresh air. While some of the more hardcore players may cite the changes as “the devs coddling the noobs,” I believe that this is just part of the natural progression for a game that’s trying to acclimate to a growing playerbase with varying skill levels.

I was able to play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at a PlayStation event and the posture system plus the various gadgets found in the character’s prosthetic arm got me excited for From Software’s next title.

Playing Prey on hard feels right. The tension is constant but the amount of resources available is enough for me to see this through. The story is intriguing but feels like it could fall flat anytime now, but that's okay. I’m loving my stay in Talos 1, and I’ll probably be here longer than expected.
