Rainbow Six: Siege expands yet again with Operation Phantom Sight, adding Operators Nøkk and Warden to the game’s roster while revamping one of the first maps in the game when it launched in 2015.

It’s a pity Massive Entertainment can’t seem to make a good story out of what I think is an interesting universe set in the modern world, but as it stands, despite its shortcomings, The Division 2 is one of the best looter shooters out today. If you’re new to the genre, you can’t go wrong here. And for those coming from other looter shooters, you might get a kick out of what they have waiting for you at the end.

Chris Avellone, the designer who co-wrote Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, had less than great things to say about the leadership at Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind the upcoming The Outer Worlds. Avellone was a co-founder and co-owner at the studio until he left in 2015.

The game was confirmed as a single player, story-driven experience with no microtransactions. Lucasfilm said the collective goal was to make “a badass, kick-ass Jedi Star Wars game for people to love.”

New Dawn delivers a shallow exploration of its premise and is more interested in the sheer anarchic fun of a fully refined playground of carnage. That’s fine for a game that continues to indulge in the franchise’s weirdest excesses while fine tuning its formula for maximum fun.
