Bandai Namco and From Software have finally given us a lengthy presentation on Elden Ring, which is the first time we were given a clear look at how the game will play. Simply put, it’s Dark Souls with a lot of open-world mechanics that there’s a reason why this continues to be one of the most highly anticipated titles in 2022.

Firaxis Games announced that their strategy game Marvel’s Midnight Suns would be delayed to the latter half of 2022. The reason for the delay is that the developers simply need more time work on the game to properly execute their vision for the game.

During Activision Blizzard’s third-quarter earnings call this year, the company announced that their highly anticipated titles Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 will be delayed. No release window was given but it looks like we can see these two games come out sometime in 2023 at the earliest.

Developer Id Software announced that Doom Eternal will finally get it’s very own Horde mode next week on October 26 when the 6.66 patch goes live. The patch also come with changes to Battlemode plus a few additions to the multiplayer game mode.

Ubisoft is giving everyone a chance to try out the upcoming extreme sports game Riders Republic for four hours during the game’s Trial Week, which starts on October 21 until October 27. The limited trial will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Bandai Namco announced that Elden Ring has been delayed and will now release on February 25, 2022. That makes February 2022 very crowded as we have other big games also launching in that month, such as Horizon Forbidden West, Saints Row, Dying Light 2, the next Destiny 2 expansion, and a lot more.

Turtle Rock Studios released their 4-player co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood last week and I’ve been spending hours collecting cards and simply having fun with the game with friends and random players as It perfectly scratches that Left 4 Dead itch.

DICE has revealed Hazard Zone, the third big game mode for their highly anticipated online shooter Battlefield 2042, which is set to launch this November. Many were pointing that this game mode could be another take on the battle royale formula but leans more towards games like Hunt: Showdown and even Escape from Tarkov.
